Collenvell's Nat.

JOHN Collenvell, of Ilford in the County of Kent, having, this Day, taken the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, in order to his being naturalized;

And a Certificate being read on his Behalf, of his having received the Sacrament;

Ordered, That the Name of the said John Collenvell be inserted into the Bill of Naturalization.

Richmond Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for Election of a Member to serve for the Borough of Richmond in the County of Yorke, in the room of Mr. Wandesford, lately deceased.

Sarum Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a new Writ, for Election of a Member to serve for the City of Sarum, in the room of Mr. Edward Hide, deceased.

Act of Oblivion, &c.

Ordered, That the Bill to explain the Act of Indemnity for Relief of Creditors, in relation to Outlawries and Forfeitures, be read the Second time on Thursday Morning at Ten of the Clock.

Vintners.

A Bill for levying the Forfeitures on Vintners, and other Retailers of Wine, Beer, and Ale, was this Day read the Second time.

Debtors Relief.

A Bill being tendered for Relief of poor Prisoners, in pursuance of an Order of the House;

Ordered, That this Bill for the Relief of poor Prisoners be read To-morrow Morning.

Hertfordshire Roads.

An additional Bill for Continuance of a former Act, as to the County of Hertford, for repairing and maintaining the Highways, was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time Tomorrow Morning.

Supply Bill.

Sir Robert Atkins reports from the Committee of the whole House, several Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in the Bill; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the Amendments being once read;

The several Amendments to the Bill, which do precede the Amendment to the Forty-third Folio, Lines the Third, Fourth, Fifth, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Amendment to the Forty-third Folio, Lines the Third, Fourth, and Fifth, was read the Second time; the same being to leave out these Words, "and by such Receiver General to the Receipt of his Majesty's Exchequer:"

The Question being put, To agree to the said Amendment;

It passed in the Negative.

The subsequent Amendments which were made to the Bill, before the Amendment to the Forty-sixth Folio, Line the Tenth, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

The Amendment to the Tenth Line of the Forty-sixth Folio being read the Second time;

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "College of Windsor," be inserted in the Amendment, after these Words, "College of * *."

Which was done; and twice read; and agreed.

The rest of the Amendments were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Preamble to the Bill, which was postponed, being amended at the Committee, was twice read.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "Royal Navy," be inserted, instead of "great Fleet," in the Preamble.

Which was done; and the Words thrice read; and agreed.

Resolved, &c. That the Words "in the Seas" be inserted, instead of "of the Seas."

Which was done; and the Words thrice read; and agreed to.

Resolved, That the Word "whole" be left out of the Preamble.

Which was done accordingly.

Resolved, &c. That, instead of these Words, "that inevitable Ruin," these Words, viz. "those Inconveniences which must needs befal the Nation," be inserted in the Preamble.

Which was done; and the Words thrice read; and agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Preamble, with these Amendments, be agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the further Debate of the Matter, upon the Bill for his Majesty's Supply, be adjourned till To-morrow Morning at Ten of the Clock.

Epworth, &c. Commons.

Ordered, That these Members following be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for settling the Commonable Grounds of Epworth and Gringley is committed; viz. Sir Tho. Strickland, Mr. Waller, Colonel Windham, Mr. Scawen, Colonel Hen. Williams, Sir John Holland, Sir Richard Powle, Colonel Edw. Phillips, Colonel Robert Phillips, Mr. Tayler, Mr. Will. Fees in Courts.

Ordered, That the Committee, to which the Bill concerning Officers Fees is committed, be revived; and do sit this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed: And that the Committee to which the Bill for regulating the Law was committed, be joined to the said Committee.

Hallage Duty.

Ordered, That Sir Henry Herbert, and Sir Rowland Berkeley, be added to the Committee to whom the Bill for Hallage is committed.
