Sayer's, &c. Nat.

COLONEL Robinson reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Naturalization of Dame Catharine Sayer, and others, was committed, That the Committee had considered the Certificates of the several Persons therein named, and found the same perfect; save only that he was commanded, by the Committee, to report the Case of Peter de la Rouse, Doctor in Physick, Specially, That he was in Barbadoes: But that there was produced an ample Certificate from the Lord Willoughby, on his Behalf, of his having taken the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, and the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper.

The Question being put, That Peter de la Rouse be continued in the Bill;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That such Persons as have not paid their Fees be struck out of the Bill of Naturalization.

Resolved, That the Bill be ingrossed.

St. James' Parish.

A Bill for the dividing the Bailiwick of St. James, and other Places, from the Parish of St. Martin's in the Fields, and making of a distinct Parish, and erecting a Church for the Inhabitants, was read the Second time.

A Petition of the Vicar and Churchwardens of St. Martin's in the Fields, was tendered.

Ministers Maintenance.

Sir Thomas Meres reports from the Committee to which the Bill for the Increase of the Maintenance of Ministers in Cities, Towns Corporate, or Market Towns, was committed, That the Committee had agreed some Amendments to be made; and some Clauses to be added to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the said Amendments being once read;

And the several Amendments precedent to the Amendment to the * Line of the * Folio; were read the Second time:

Resolved, That these Words, "which lies wholly, or in part," be added, after the Word "Parish," in the Amendment to the * Line of the * Folio.

Which was done.

All the subsequent Amendments, to the last, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

And the last Amendment being read the Second time;

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee;

It passed in the Negative.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Falmouth Church.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Walter Littleton and Sir Toby Woolrich;

Mr. Speaker, the Lords have sent you down a Bill, intituled, An Act for the Making of the Church erected at Falmouth, a Parish Church, and no Part of the Parish of Gluvias, or Chapelry of St. Budocke: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Hearth Money.

Another Message from the Lords, by Sir Just. Lewin and Sir William Glascocke;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have returned you the Bill for collecting the Duty arising by Hearth Money, by Officers to be appointed by his Majesty; with some few Amendments: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Damage Cleere.

A Bill for taking away Damage Cleere, in the Counties Palatine of Lancaster and Chester, was this Day read the First time.
