Prayers.

Lord's Day.

ORDERED, That the Committee to which the Bill for the better Observation of the Lord's Day was committed, be revived; and to sit this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Place formerly appointed.

Falmouth Church.

A Bill, sent from the Lords, for making the Church erected at Falmouth, a Parish Church, and no Part of the Parish of Gluvias, or Chapelry of St. Budock, was read the First time.

Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time on Monday Morning next.

Damage Cleere.

A Bill to take away Damage Cleere, in the Counties Palatine of Lancaster and Chester, was read the Second time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be committed to Mr. Rigby, Sir Roger Bradshaigh, Lord Ancram, Sir Tho. Littleton, Mr. Hungerford, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Edw. Masters, Mr. Kent, Sir Wm. Lowther, Colonel Gilby, Mr. Crouch, Sir John Knight, Mr. Morrice, Mr. Wm. Mountague, Sir Edw. Moseley, Sir Richard Oateley, Mr. Yorke, Sir Lanc. Lake, Mr. John Vaughan, Sir Tho. Allen, Sir Wm. Doyley, Sir Phillip Warwick, Colonel Robinson, Mr. Coltyns, Sir Solo. Swale, Sir Geo. Clarke, Mr. Biscawen, Mr. Radcliffe, Mr. Cory, Colonel Kirkby, Mr. Westphaling, and all the Members of this House, that serve for the Counties of Lancaster and Chester: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Two of the Clock, in the Speaker's . . . . . : And to summon and hear the Parties concerned: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Boston Petition.

A Petition of the Merchants, Mariners, and others, Traders of the Town of Boston in the County of Lincolne, was read.

Resolved, &c. That this Petition be referred to the Committee to which the Matter touching Expedients for settling the Differences in relation to Fees, between the Customers and Merchants, is committed; to consider the Matter of the Petition; and report the same, with their Opinions therein, to the House.

Streets and Highways.

A Bill for regulating Building, and to supply a former Act for repairing the Streets and Highways in and near London and Westminster, and regulating Hackney Coaches, was read the Second time.

The Question being put, That the Bill be committed;

The House was divided.

Regulating Printing.

An ingrossed Bill for the Continuance of a former Act for regulating the Press, was read.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for Continuance of a former Act for regulating the Press.

Loyal Officers.

Sir John Birkenhead reports from the Committee to which the Matter upon the Petition of Mr. Palmes was committed, That the Committee had agreed upon a Vote to be reported to the House: Which he read in his Place; and delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table. And the Vote being read, was as followeth; viz.

That it be reported to the House, as the Opinion of the Committee, That Mr. Palmes be discharged of his Imprisonment, giving Security to the Treasurer for the loyal indigent Officers to appear, when he shall be thereunto required; and acquit himself of what he shall be charged with, by virtue of the Two Acts of Parliament, for payment of the Monies due to the said loyal indigent Officers.

Resolved, upon the Question, That this House doth agree with the Committee, That Mr. Palmes be discharged of his Imprisonment, giving Security to the Treasurer for the loyal indigent Officers to appear, when he shall be thereunto required; and acquit himself of what he shall be charged with, by virtue of the Two Acts of Parliament, for Payment of the Monies due to the said loyal indigent Officers.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Petition of the indigent Officers was committed, do sit this Afternoon; and examine, what Money is yet in Arrear, payable to the loyal indigent Officers; and in whose Hands it doth rest; and to make Report thereof to the House: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Ordered, That it be referred to Mr. Pryn, and Sir Phillip Warwick, to prepare and bring in a Bill for the better collecting such Monies as are in Arrear, and due to the King's Majesty; and also the Arrears of Monies due and payable to the loyal indigent Officers.

Vintners.

Mr. Prin reports from the Committee to which the Bill for regulating Abuses in Retailing of Wine, and Ale, and Beer, was committed, That the Committee had agreed some Amendments to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

The First Amendment to the Twenty-fourth Line of the Second Page was twice read; and debated.

The Question being put, To agree with the Committee in that Amendment;

It passed in the Negative.

The other Amendments were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Lord Strangford's Estate.

Sir Francis Goodrick reports from the Committee to which the Bill for enabling the Lord Strang ford to sell Lands, for Payment of Debts, was committed, several Amendments agreed by the Committee to be made to the Bill: Which he read with the Coherence; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the Amendments being twice read, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Another Proviso, on the Behalf of Algernon Sidney, was tendered.

Ordered, That the said Proviso be brought in, ingrossed.
