FRANCIS Smith, alias Lefeburne, John Longuett, and Peter Overing, did, this Day, take the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, before Mr. Speaker, at the Clerk's Table, in order to their Naturalization.

Prayers.

Writs of Error.

Mr. Pryn reports from the Committee to which the ingrossed Bill sent from the Lords, to prevent Abatements of Writs of Error, upon Judgments had in the Exchequer, was committed, one Amendment agreed to be made to the Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in his Place; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the Amendment being twice read; and, on the Question, agreed to.

The Bill, with the Amendment agreed to, was read the Third time.

Resolved, &c. That the Bill, with the Amendment, be agreed to.

Resolved, &c. That the Title of the Bill be agreed to: And that Mr. Pryn do carry up the Bill to the Lords for their Concurrence.

Malverne Chace.

A Bill for confirming the Disafforestation and Improvement of Malverne Chace was this Day read the Second time.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Batten, being to attend his Majesty's Service, have the Leave of this House to be absent for Three Weeks.

A Petition of Sir Henry Yelverton was read.

Ordered, That this Petition be referred to the Committee of Elections: And that they do meet this Afternoon; and agree a Time to send for Persons and Papers, and to hear the Cause upon this Petition: And, if they find a Miscarriage in the Mayor of Northampton, to report it specially to the House.

Madder.

A Bill for the Enabling and Encouraging of James Smith to plant and make Madder, within the Kingdom of England, was read the Second time.

The Question being put, that the Bill be committed;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, That the Bill be committed to the Committee appointed to consider of the Petitions of the Clothiers; and the Matter concerning Wool and Wool-fells;

Message from the King.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Thomas Bird and Sir Toby Woolrich;

Mr. Speaker, the Lords have commanded us to acquaint you, That his Majesty hath sent Word, That he will be at the House of Lords, about Eleven of the Clock this Morning, to pass the Bill concerning Triennial Parliaments.

Crown Revenue.

The House then resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration the Bill for the better collecting and levying of the additional Revenue, established on his Majesty, his Heirs and Successors, for the better Support of his and their Crown and Dignity.

Ordered, That Mr. Chichley, Sir Edmond Bowyer, and Sir Wm. Haward, be added to the Committee to whom the Two Bills for Relief of the Creditors of the Merchant Adventurers is referred.

Poor Relief.

A Petition of the Parish of St. Clement Danes was read.

Resolved, &c. That the said Petition be referred to the Committee to which the additional Bill for Relief of the Poor is committed: And the Committee is hereby impowered to receive such Petitions, of the like Nature, as shall be offered to them.
