Prayers.

Triennial Parliaments.

MR. Pryn reports, That Sir William Lowther and He had compared the Title of the Act, intituled, An Act for the preventing of Inconveniencies happening by the long Intermission of Parliaments; and found it agree in Terms with the Title of the Act upon Record in the Roll.

Bedford Level.

An additional Bill for explaining of the Act for the Draining of the Great Level of the Fens, called Bedford Level, was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Monday next.

Partition of Lands.

A Bill for the Partition of Lands was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Thursday next.

Wey Navigation.

A Bill for the establishing and settling the Navigation of the River Wey in the County of Surrey was read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read the Second time on Wednesday next.

Call of the House.

The House was then called over, according to the Order of the One-and-twentieth of this instant March.

And several Members making Default in attending;

Resolved, &c. That the House be Called over again on To-morrow Month, being the Six-and-twentieth Day of April next.

Resolved, &c. That the Penalty of Ten Pounds, for a Fine, be imposed on every Knight of a Shire; and Five Pounds on every Citizen, Burgess, or Baron of Cinque Port; who shall make Default in attending when the House is next Called over, whose Excuse shall not be allowed by the House.

The ingrossed Bill for repealing an Act for the Preventing of Inconveniencies happening by the long Intermission of Parliaments, was read.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "and holding," be inserted, after the Word "assembling" in the Six-andthirtieth Line of the Bill.

Resolved, &c. That these Words, "the Sitting and Holding of Parliaments," be inserted into the Bill, after the Word "hereafter," in the Thirtieth Line of the Bill.

The Question being put, That these Words, "the last Day of the last Sitting of," be inserted into the Bill;

A Proviso was tendered to be added to the Bill; and opened.

Resolved, &c. That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for the Assembling and Holding of Parliaments once in Three Years at the least; and for the Repeal of an Act, intituled, An Act for the Preventing of Inconveniencies happening by the long Intermission of Parliaments.

And Sir John Brampston is to carry up the Bill to the Lords.

Packington's Estate.

Ordered, That Sir Adrian Scroope and Mr. Milward be added to the Committee to which the Bill to make void certain Conveyances made by Sir John Packington to Christopher Henne, and others, of certain Lands and Hereditaments lying in or near Aylesbury in the County of Bucks, was committed.

Merchants Ships.

Ordered, That the Committee to which the Bill to prevent the delivering up English Merchant Ships to Turkish Ships, and other Sea Pirates, was committed, be adjourned till To-morrow in the Afternoon, Two of the Clock.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
