ORDERED, That all the Members of this House that serve for the several Counties of Surrey, Southampton, and Kent, and all the Members that are of the Long Robe, and Sir Henry Herbert, Sir William Smith, Sir Thomas Meres, Colonel Reames, Sir Henry North, Mr. Mainwaring, Mr. Clifford, Sir Francis Goodrick, Mr. Knowllys, Sir Robert Holt, Sir Rich. Temple, Sir Anthony Cope, and Mr. William Sandys, be added to the Committee . . . . which the Bill to make void Two Letters Patents, granted to Walter Fowler and Sir Garrett Kempe, by his Majesty, is committed.

Selling live Cattle.

A Bill for regulating the Making of Stuffs, within the County of Devon, and City and County of Exon, was read the First time.

A Bill for the better regulating the Court of Marshalsea, was this Day read the First time.

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Tho. Bird and Sir Nathaniell Hobart;

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have sent you down a Bill for the Settling of the Lands of the Earl of Kent, and the Lord Lucas, on the Marriage of the said Earl with the Daughter and Heir apparent of the said Lord Lucas: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Ordered, That this Bill be read on Monday Morning next.

Ministers Maintenance.

Advancement of Trade.

The ingrossed Bill for the Encouragement of Trade was this Day read.

An Enacting Clause, brought in to be added to the Bill, in pursuance of an Order of the House, of the Fourth of June, was twice read; and debated: But being long, and in the Nature of a Bill;

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill to comprehend the Substance of the Enacting Clause.

A Proviso was tendered, to repeal the Act for the Importing of Madder pure and unmixed; and once read.

Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill, or a Clause to the Bill directed for the regulating Fishing, for Repeal of the Act for Importing of Madder.

Ordered, That the Words "or Bullion" be inserted, after the Word "Coin."

Which was done accordingly.

The Question being put, That the Bill do pass;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

And that the Title shall be, An Act for the Encouragement of Trade.

Ordered, That Sir George Downing do carry up the Bill to the Lords for their Concurrence.

Privilege-Charge against Sir R. Temple.

Upon Information given to the House, by Mr. Coventry, That his Majesty had commanded him to impart to the House, That a Message was delivered to his Majesty by a Person of Quality, from Sir Richard Temple, to the Effect following; viz. "That Sir Richard Temple was sorry his Majesty was offended with him that he could not go along with them that had undertaken his Business in the House of Commons: But, if his Majesty would take his Advice, and intrust him and his Friends, he would undertake his Business should be effected, and Revenue settled, better than he could desire, if the Courtiers did not hinder it.

Ordered, That a Committee be appointed to examine the Matter touching Sir Richard Temple; and report it to the House; viz. Mr. Coventry, Sir Wm. Lowther, Sir Wm. Compton, Serjeant Keeling, Serjeant Charleton, Colonel Reames, Sir Edm. Peirse, Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Pryn, Mr. Clifford, Colonel Windham, Colonel Progers, Colonel Gyles Strangwayes, Mr. Garraway, Lord Ancram, Sir Charles Hussey, Mr. Crouch, Mr. Lowther, Mr. Hide, Sir John Duncombe, Sir Anth. Cope, Mr. Harbord, Sir John Talbott, Sir Francis Goodricke, Sir Tho. Littleton, Sir Edw. Littleton, Sir Solomon Swale: And all the Members of this House, that come to the Committee, are to have Voices: And they are to meet in the Speaker's Chamber, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, on Monday next: And to send for Persons, Papers, and Records.

Ordered, That the humble Thanks of this House be returned to his Majesty, for his gracious Message to this House: And Mr. Treasurer, Sir William Compton, Mr. Coventry, and Mr. Progers, are desired to return the Thanks of this House to his Majesty.

Privilege.

Upon Complaint made to this House, by Sir Richard Everard, of a Breach of Privilege;

Ordered, That the Matter concerning Sir Richard Everard be referred to the same Committee appointed to examine the Business concerning Sir Richard Temple; and to report the same to the House.

Committees.

Ordered, That all Committees which were to meet this Afternoon be adjourned; and do meet on Monday, at Two of the Clock, in the Places formerly appointed.

Wool and Leather.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to inspect the Act against transporting of Wool, and the Act against Transporting of Leather, be revived; and do sit on Monday next, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Place formerly appointed: And Sir Wm. Lowther, Colonel Whitley, Sir Gilbert Gerrard, Sir Rich. Maleverer, and Sir Tho. Tompkins, are added to the said Committee.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning next, at Eight a Clock.
