JOHN Baptist Capell and Peter Vanoverscheld did this Day take the Oaths of Supremacy and Allegiance, at the Clerk's Table, in order to their being naturalized.

Ordered, That the Names of the said John Baptist Capell and Peter Vanoverscheld be inserted into the Bill for Naturalization.

Wallingford Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Electing of a new Member, to serve for the Town of Wallingford in the County of Berks, in the room of Mr. George Fane, lately deceased.

Richmond Writ.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do issue his Warrant to the Clerk of the Crown, to make out a Writ, for Electing of a Member to serve for the Borough of Richmond in the County of Yorke, in the room of Sir John Yorke, lately deceased.

Profaneness, &c.

A Bill for preventing Profaneness, Licentiousness, and Impiety, was this Day read the First time.

Resolved, &c. That this Bill be read again, the Second time, To-morrow Morning.

Lyndsey Level.

The Question being put, That the Order, made the Second of this Month, for Hearing of the Cause, upon the Bills depending concerning the Draining of the Level of the Fens, called Lyndsey Level, at the Bar of this House, To-morrow, do stand;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

Committees on Revenue.

Ordered, That such Committees as were appointed to inspect the several Branches of the King's Majesty's Revenue, be revived; and do meet this Afternoon, at the Places formerly appointed: And they are to prepare, and bring in, their Reports, on Tuesday Morning next.

Courts of Justice.

Ordered, That Mr. Spry, Colonel Kirkby, Mr. Culleford, Sir Tho. Stewkley, Sir John Coriton, Mr. Boscowen, Mr. Rigby, Sir Bain. Thockmorton, Mr. Elliot, be added to the Committee to which the Bill for regulating Abuses in the Law is committed.

Vaughan's Claims.

Ordered, That these Members following be added to the Committee to which the Bill for restoring Henry Vaughan Esquire, to certain Sums of Money unduly gained from him by John Allured, was committed; viz. Earl of Portland's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, for settling an Annuity of Three hundred Pounds per Annum upon Charles Earl of Portland, and for the Benefit of Willoughby Whitlocke, Bulstrode Whitlocke, and Carleton Whitlocke, Infants; and for Confirming of Agreements made to compose Suits in Law against them; was this Day read the First time.

A Letter, directed to the Lord Fanshaw, and subscribed by Mr. Willoughby, and several other Persons of Quality, of the County of Hertford, complaining of the frequent and numerous Conventions of Quakers, Anabaptists, and other Dissenters from the Church of England, was read.

Ordered, That a Committee be appointed, to peruse the Statute of 35° Eliz.; and to consider whether the same be defective, and wherein; and to provide such further Remedies and Expedients as they shall find necessary, against the Meetings and Conventions of Sectaries, Nonconformists, and Dissenters from the Church; viz.
