Copleston's Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill for confirming a Sale of Lands, made by John Copleston Esquire, to John Mayne, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the said Bill do pass: And that the Title shall be, An Act for confirming a Sale made by John Copleston Esquire to John Mayne Merchant.

And Mr. Cornwallis is to carry up this Bill to the Lords.

Hitcham's Charities.

An ingrossed Bill for settling and confirming of the Manors of Framlingham and Saxtead, in the County of Suffolke, and the Lands, and Tenements, and Hereditaments thereunto belonging, devised by Sir Robert Hitcham Knight, and late Serjeant at Law, to certain charitable Uses, was this Day read the Third time.

Resolved, That the said Bill do pass; and that the Title shall be, an Act for settling and confirming of the Manors of Framlingham and Saxtead, in the County of Suffolke, and the Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments thereunto belonging, devised by Sir Robert Hitcham Knight, and late Serjeant at Law, to certain charitable Uses.

And Mr. Crouch is to carry up this Bill to the Lords.

Lord Widdrington's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, to enable the Lord Widdrington to sell Lands to pay his Debts, and provide Portions for his Brothers and Sisters, and making Provision for his younger Children, was this Day read the Second time.

Resolved, That the said Bill be committed to Sir Humphrey Winch, Sir Hen. Widdrington, Sir Tho. Gower, Lord Ancram, Mr. Fane, Sir Solomon Swale, Sir Phil. Musgrave, Lord Bruce, Colonel Reames, Sir Anth. Irby, Sir Tho. Highways.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill for enlarging and repairing the Highways, be read To-morrow Morning.

Bedford Level.

Ordered, That the Amendments, reported to the Bill concerning the great Level of the Fens, called Bedford Level, be taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning.

Lindsey Level.

Ordered, That the Matter touching the Claim of Sir Charles Hussey in the Level of the Fens, called Lindsey Level, be heard on Saturday.

Exporting Wool.

Upon Information, That there was a Clause in the Bill concerning Wool and Wool-fells, against the exporting of Leather, which is since provided for in another Bill that is passed;

Resolved, That the Committee to which the said Bill against exporting Wool and Wool-fells was committed, be revived: And that the Bill be re-committed to them, to consider of the Particular before mentioned.

Uniformity of Worship.

The House then resumed the Consideration of the Residue of the Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill of Uniformity.

And the several Amendments, from the Thirtieth Line in the First Skin, to the Fortieth Line, being read the Second time, were, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

The Question being put, To agree to that Part of the Amendment, to the Fortieth Line of the Bill, to put in the Words "the said," instead of "a;"

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, To adhere to these Words, "annexed and joined to this present Act, and;" which the Lords, in the same Amendment, would have omitted;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Amendment to the Forty-second Line in the Bill was read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

The Amendment to the Forty-third Line was read the Second time; and, in Part, agreed to, till these Words, "appointed to be annexed to this present Act."

The Question being put, To agree to that Part of the Amendment for inserting the said Words, "appointed to be annexed to this present Act;"

It passed in the Negative.

The Amendment to the Eighth Line of the Second Skin, being read the Second time; and the same being, instead of "Michael the Archangel," to read "Bartholomew;"

The Question being put, To adhere to the Bill as to the Words "Michael the Archangel;"

The House was divided.

The Noes went out.

And so it passed in the Negative:

And the Amendment of the Lords, as to that Point, was agreed to.

The Question being put, To agree to the Amendment to the Ninth Line of the Second Skin, to read, "Two," instead of "One;"

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The Question being put, To agree to the Amendment to the Fifteenth Line of the Second Skin, to read "in the said Book," instead of "therein;"

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

The next Paragraph of the said Amendment, for the Ministers Subscription of their Consent, being read the Second time;

Resolved, upon the Question, That this House doth agree to that Paragraph of the said Amendment.

Resolved, That this House will proceed upon the rest of the Amendments to the Bill of Uniformity To-morrow Morning.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
