Prayers.

Navigable Rivers.

AN ingrossed Bill, sent from the Lords, to make all Rivers navigable, that are capable thereof, was this Day read the First time.

Ordered, That this Bill be read the Second time To-morrow Morning.

Prize Goods.

Amendments, sent from the Lords, to the Bill directing the Prosecution of such as are in Arrear for Prize Goods, were read Three times; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to.

Resolved, That the Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be sent up to the Lords.

And Mr. Ashburnham is to carry it up.

Committees added.

Ordered, That Sir Thomas Strickland and Sir Jordan Crosland be added to the Committee to which Mrs. Briscoe's Bill is committed.

Bengworth Bridge.

Sir John Brampston reports from the Committee to which the Bill for Repair of Bengworth Bridge in the County of Worcester was committed, several Amendments to be made, and one Proviso to be added to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in the Bill; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table: And the same being twice read; and, upon the Question, severally agreed to;

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the Amendments and Proviso agreed to, be ingrossed.

Exportation of Wool.

Mr. Knight reports from the Committee to which the Bill against the Exporting of Wool and Wool-fells was committed, several Amendments to be made to the said Bill: Which he read, with the Coherence, in the Bill; and after, delivered the same in at the Clerk's Table.

And the said Amendments being twice read;

The Question being put, To put out that Part of the Amendment, for excepting Tobacco-pipe Clay of the Isle of Purbeck;

It was resolved in the Affirmative.

And the same was accordingly struck out.

Resolved, That the said Bill, with the Amendments agreed to, be ingrossed.

Navy and Ordnance Carriages.

Upon Motion made this Day, informing, That his Majesty's Affairs were much inconvenienced in relation to his Navy and Ordnance, by the People's imposing excessive Rates upon Carriages, knowing the Necessity of his Majesty's Occasions; and his Majesty intended not to have the same at lower Rates than usual; but to give the same Rates that Merchants and others did;

Ordered, That Mr. William Coventry have Leave to prepare and bring in a Bill, with Blanks, to settle the Rates of such Carriages as shall be made Use of for his Majesty's Occasions.

Uniformity of Worship.

The House then proceeded to the Reading of the remaining Amendments, sent down from the Lords, to the Bill for Uniformity, from the Place where they left Yesterday.

The last Paragraph of the Amendment, in the Twenty-fifth Line of the Second Skin, being read the Second time;

Resolved, That the said Paragraph be postponed.

The Three next Amendments to the Thirteenth, Thirty-ninth, and Forty-first Lines of the Second Skin, were read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

The Amendment to the Seventh Line of the Second Skin was read the Second time: And the Amendment being, That after the Word "dead," to add the Clauses contained in the Parchment marked with N° 1.;

The said Parchment was read the Second time.

The First Paragraph in the said Parchment was read the Third time.

Ordered, That Mr. Vaughan, Serjeant Seis, and Mr. Thurland, de peruse the Statutes, and bring in a Proviso for translating the Book of Common Prayer into Welsh, if it may consist with the Laws in Force.

Resolved, upon the Question, That an Amendment be made to the said Paragraph, by reading "One Month," instead of "Three Months."

Resolved, That the said Paragraph, with the Amendment, be agreed to.-

A Message from the Lords, by Sir Wm. Child and Sir Wm. Glascock;

Militia.

Mr. Speaker, The Lords have returned the Bill for ordering the Forces in the several Counties in this Kingdom, with some Amendments; to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.-

Uniformity of Worship.

The House then proceeded to the reading of the Second Paragraph of the Parchment marked N° 1.

Ordered, That Mr. Crouch, Sir Tho. Meers, Serjeant Charlton, Dr. Birkinhead, Sir Edmund Peirse, Sir John Brampston, and Dr. Burwell, do withdraw, and pen a Paragraph, upon the present Debate.

The next Paragraph of the Parchment, as to Ordination, was read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

The next Paragraph, as to the Administration of the Sacraments, was read the Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed to.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Eight of the Clock.
