ORDERED, That John Chute alias Tute, Bailiff of the Liberty of the Sanctuary Westminster, and John Allen, be apprehended by the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, and brought in Custody to the Committee of Privileges, for arresting William Matthews, menial Servant to Charles Roscarrock Esquire, one of the Members of this House, in Breach of the Privilege thereof.

Vane and Lambert.
Mr. Tompkins made Report from the Committee appointed to attend his Majesty for remanding Sir Henry Vane, and Lambert, and the Persons attainted, That according to the Command of this House, they had waited upon his Majesty, and presented to him the Order: Which he graciously read, and returned this Answer; That he would take care that Vane and Lambert, and Waller, should be brought in safe Custody: And that, in the Close, his Majesty took Notice of the Word "others," in the Order; and expressed how exceeding much he was beholden to the House of Commons for the great Gift and the Manner of it, in giving it so freely.

The House resolved into a Grand Committee, to resume the Debate of the One million Two hundred thousand Pounds.

Mr. Speaker again took the Chair.
Serjeant Charleton reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they had voted that the Proportions upon the several Counties shall, for this time, be the same as are expressed in an Act for the raising of Seventy thousand Pounds, for the further Supply of his Majesty, confirmed by this present Parliament: And that the Committee desired, that the House would again resolve into a Committee of the whole House, on Tuesday next, at Ten of the Clock, to proceed in further Debate concerning the Supply for his Majesty's present Occasions.
Resolved, That this House do then resolve into a Committee to proceed in the said Debate.
And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, at Eight of the Clock.
