Barbados, &c.
THE Serjeant at Arms gave an Account of his Service in proclaiming the Act for prohibiting Trade with the Barbados, Bermudas, Virginia, and Antego, on Three several Days, upon the Exchange, London, at the time of the Concourse of Merchants thither, according to the Directions of the said Act.
Pass granted.
Ordered, That there be added to the Pass for the Lord Joachimi, Liberty for him to transport Eight Horses beyond the Seas, together with his Family and Goods.
Sale of Manors, &c.
The House resumed the Debate upon the Bill for Sale of Manors of Rectories and Glebe Lands, late belonging to the late Archbishops, Bishops, Deans, Deans and Chapters.
The Question being put, That the Clause in the Act concerning Reprises for Payments and Duties charged for charitable, pious, or other, Use or Uses, do stand in the Bill;
It was resolved in the Affirmative.
Resolved, That the first Clause, after "Be it Enacted," be amended, and made as followeth; That all Manors of Rectories Impropriate, Messuages, Tenements, Glebe Lands, Pastures, Meadows, Marshes, belonging to any Rectory Impropriate, and Fee-farm Rents issuing out of Manors or Rectories Impropriate, jointly or severally charged therewith, late belonging or appertaining, or reputed and taken to be belonging or appertaining, to any Rectory Impropriate, Parsonage, Church, Chapel, or Donative, lately appertaining or belonging, or reputed and taken to be belonging or appertaining, to any late Archbishop, Bishop, Dean, Deans and Chapters, Prebend, or other Person or Persons, or Bodies Politick, mentioned in the said Ordinance and Acts of Parliament to be abolished, in Right of his or their said Office or Function, shall be, and are hereby, settled," &c.
Resolved, That the Clause touching the Security in this Act be amended, as followeth; viz. "as also of so much of the Honours, Manors, Lands, Tenements, and Hereditaments, by the first-recited Act appointed to be sold, as shall amount to the Value of One hundred thousand Pounds."
A Proviso was tendered to this Act, "That this Act, or any thing therein contained, shall not extend to the Sale of any Church, or publick Chapel, or to any Churchyard, or Ground used for a common Burying-place; any thing in this Act contained to the contrary thereof in any wise notwithstanding:" Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, agreed unto; and ordered to be Part of the Bill.
The Bill, so amended, being put . . the Question, passed: And ordered to be printed and published.
Ordered, That it be referred to the Council of State, to take care, that the One hundred Twenty thousand Pounds, to be borrowed upon this Act, be disposed of in Manner following; viz. Fifty thousand Pounds for the Use of the Army, and Fifty thousand Pounds for the Use of the Navy, proportionably as the same comes in; and the Twenty thousand Pounds Residue, as they shall think fit, with regard to the Payment to the Surveyors of what is ordered to be paid unto them, and what is further due: And that they be authorized to issue their Warrants and Orders for that Purpose.
Highways.
Ordered, That the Bill touching the Repairing of the Highways be read on Friday Morning next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.
Deans and Chapters Lands.
Ordered, That the Bill touching removing Obstructions in the Sale of Deans and Chapters Lands, be read To-morrow Morning.
Robinson's Discovery.
Ordered, That Mr. Robinson have further Time, until the Four-and-twentieth of January next, to make further Discovery of the late Archbishop of Canterburies Estate concealed, according to former Order: And that the Committee be, and are hereby, impowered and authorized to examine Witnesses, upon Oath, for Discovery of the said concealed Estate: And if any of the Parties in whose Hands it appears that the Monies belonging to the said late Archbishop do remain, do not forthwith satisfy the same, That then the said Committee shall transmit them to the Commissioners for Compounding with Delinquents; and that they do proceed against them, according to the Powers and Rules to them given in such Cases.

Thwaites banished.
The humble Petition of Thomas Thwaites, in Newgate, convicted, was this Day read.
Ordered, That Mr. Thomas Thwaites be banished, and depart out of this Commonwealth, and the Territories thereof, before the First Day of December next: And that the Sheriffs of London and Middlesex do take care to see this Order put in Execution.
