RESOLVED, That this House doth approve of the Pardon of Thomas Beauchampe Gentleman, Wm. Morgan, Richard Perry, Henry Terry, John Hobday, Nicholas Bowes, Richard Key, John Mitchell, Wm. Stones, Ann Byron, Ann Weston alias Byron, Edward Grinder, Anne Ingram, Elizabeth Whitehurst, Edward Flame, and Robert Johnson. And

It is Ordered, That the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the said Pardon under the Great Seal of England.

Resolved, That this House doth approve of the Pardon of Wm. Forrester, George Hockmill, Richard Parfie, Jane Smyth, Elizabeth Perrimond, Robert Feake, Everard Dowsing, Joseph Tinck, John Cooke, Richard Harrison, Humfry Varoe, Wm. Ellord, Richard Browne, Thomas Beckett; Edmund Howard, and Simon Rowse. And

It is Ordered, That the Lords Commissioners for the Great Seal be authorized and required to pass the said Pardon under the Great Seal of England.

Ordered, That the Judges of the several Circuits be and are required hereafter to certify to the Parliament the Calendar of the Offences of such Prisoners as they conceive fit Subjects of Mercy.

Army Pay.

Colonel Ven reports from the Committee of the Army, the State of the Pay for the Army.

Fee-farm Rents.

Ordered, That the Committee touching the Bill for Sale of the Fee-farm Rents be injoined to sit this Afternoon; and to bring in the Bill To-morrow Morning: And that Notice hereof be given to Mr. Attorney General.

Goldsmiths Hall Revenue.

Mr. Trenchard reports the State of Goldsmiths Hall its Treasury, as it now stands charged this Eighteenth of January 1649; viz.

The State of Goldsmiths Hall its Treasury, as it now stands charged this Eighteenth of January 1649; viz.

All such Sums as were charged to be paid, in Course, out of the Moiety not engaged for the City Security, for the Monies lent at Weavers Hall, on the Credit of Bishops Lands, as well those transferred, as those not transferred, are all fully paid except these underwritten.

Payment of the Army.

Ordered, That the Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall do pay in Course, the Sum of Forty-two thousand Pounds, Residue of the Fifty thousand Pounds charged on that Treasury; whereof Eight thousand Pounds was formerly ordered to the Navy, to the Treasurers of the Army, towards the Payment of the Parliament's Forces, to be issued out by Warrant from the Committee of the Army.

Expences of Treaty with the late King.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of the Revenue, to take Account of the Business touching the Sum of Fourteen thousand Pounds, to defray the Charges of the Treaty at the Isle of Wight; and to see what is behind, and unpaid, of the Sum so to be lent; and that the Securities for Payment thereof do remain as they now stand: And the Committee of Goldsmiths Hall are impowered and authorized to pay the same, in Course, as it now stands, upon a Certificate thereof from the Committee of the Revenue: And that the Remainder of the said Sum be paid over, by Order of the said Committee at Goldsmiths Hall, to Mr. Fauconbridge, for Satisfaction of such Sums of Money as are due for Debts contracted by the Commissioners, or their Authority, for their Service: And that Mr. Fauconbridge do pay over the said Money unto Mr. Gay, Steward to the said Commissioners, for the Uses aforesaid.

Lancashire Forces.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of Goldsmiths Hall, to pay the Sum One thousand Four hundred and Forty-four Pounds Fourteen Shillings and Tenpence, for the disbanding of the Forces in Lancashire, in Course: And that the said Committee do inquire, if any of the said Money be already paid: And, if not, then the said Committee is hereby authorized and required to pay the same.

Payment of the Army.

Ordered, That it be referred to the Committee of the Army, to confer with the Treasurers of Goldsmiths Hall, and the Treasurers of the Army, to consider how, upon the Credit of the Forty-two thousand Pounds, Residue of the Fifty-thousand Pounds, charged on the Treasury at Goldsmiths Hall, whereof Eight thousand Pounds was formerly ordered to the Navy, the Sum of Forty-two thousand Pounds may be presently raised for Supply of the Pay, to the Parliament's Forces.

Ditto.

Mr. Trenchard reports from the Committee of Goldsmiths Hall, the State of the Business touching the Five thousand Pounds, Residue of the Eleven thousand Pounds which was to be paid into Weavers Hall.

"Whereas we have received an Order from you, of the Eighteenth of February instant, whereby an Order of Parliament, of the Fifteenth of February instant, touching the Five thousand Pounds, Residue of the Eleven thousand Pounds which was to be paid into Weavers Hall, is referred to us, to state the Business, that it may be reported to the House: We find,"

"That, by the said Order of the Fifteenth of February instant, it was referred to you, to consider of the Payment of the said Five thousand Pounds, which was directed, by an Order of the Twenty-fifth of January, to be paid in Course, from the Time the said Eleven thousand Pounds was ordered to be paid into Weacers Hall; and to state the Matter of Fact to the House: Which Order of the Twenty-fifth of January last was made by you, in pursuance of an Order of the Parliament of the Seventeenth of January last, whereby you were authorized to issue out your Warrants to the Treasurers at Goldsmiths Hall, for Payment of the said Five thousand Pounds, Residue of the Eleven thousand Pounds, which was to be paid into Weacers Hall, in Course, after such Monies as stand now charged for the Use of the Publick: Which Order of yours was directly according to the Order of the House.

"And we find, That the said Eleven thousand Pounds was due, in Course, some while since the first Orders: But, in regard the said last Order doth direct the Treasurers to pay the said Five thousand Pounds, in Course, after such Monies as stand now charged for the Use of the Publick, the Treasurers do now refuse to pay the said Five thousand Pounds, because there is near One hundred thousand Pounds, since charged upon the Treasury by Orders of Parliament, which will be payable, in Course, before the Monies appointed to be paid in Course by the said Order of the Seventeenth of January; so that, unless the said Five thousand Pounds be ordered to be paid, as it came in Course to have been paid, into Weavers Hall, it is not like to be paid till it come in Course after the said One hundred thousand Pounds, since charged upon the said Treasury."

Ordered, That the Sum of Five thousand Pounds, payable to Potter's List, be paid next after the Monies payable to Sanderson's List, and in the same Course; and both to be paid according to the Course of the Eleven thousand Pounds.

Ordered, That Sixty-three thousand Pounds be paid to the Treasurers of the Army, by Warrant from the Council of State, out of the Moiety of One hundred and Forty thousand Pounds, formerly engaged to Weavers Hall, to be paid to the Forces of England and Ireland, by Order of the Committee of the Army.

Publick Revenue.

Ordered, That the Report from the Council of State, touching the Bringing of all the publick Monies into one Treasury, be made To-morrow Morning, next after the Act for Sale of Fee farm Rents: And, if that Act be not ready to be reported then, that this Report be made To-morrow Morning, the first Business.

Reduced Officers.

Ordered, That the Sum of Thirty-five thousand Five hundred and Ninety Pounds Seven Shillings and Six-pence, payable to the reduced Officers, and several other Persons, formerly transferred, and ordered to be paid, as the Council of State shall direct, be left to the Council of State, to be disposed of as they shall direct, as formerly.

Business deferred.

Ordered, That Mr. Speaker do, on Wednesday next, take the Chair at Eleven of Clock: And that the Grand Committee do adjourn accordingly: And that the Petition touching the Reformado Officers, and the Business of the other Soldiers, and of Waggoners, and the poor Women, be then taken into Consideration.

Writs of Error, &c.

Ordered, That the Bill touching Errors, and the Bill of Creditors, be brought in, and reported on Thursday Morning next, the first Business; nothing to intervene.

False Debentures.

Ordered, That Colonel Ven report the Business touching the false Debentures To-morrow Morning.

Customs.

The humble Petition of the Commissioners of the Customs, was this Day read.

Some humble Proposals of several Merchants and Citizens of London, tendered unto the Parliament of England, for the Regulating and Managing of the grand Receipt of the Customs of this Commonwealth, were this Day read.

The Question being propounded, That these Proposals be committed;

And the Question being put, That this Question be now put;

It passed with the Negative.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of the Customs shall have Liberty given them to pay in the Monies collected in the Out Ports Quarterly, in case they cannot receive it sooner.

Berks Committee.

Ordered, That Mr. Nevill and Mr. Hussey be added to the Committee for the Sequestrations in the County of Berks.
