Prayers.
Revenue.
ORDERED, upon the Question, That Mr. Speaker do take the Chair on Saturday Morning next, notwithstanding any former Order: And that the Business of the Revenue be then taken into Consideration, the first Business, in like manner as by former Order it was appointed for this Day.
City Guards.
Whereas Twelve thousand Pounds was charged upon Goldsmiths-Hall, in Course, for Pay of the Guards of the City; whereof Three thousand Pounds only are paid; and the other Nine thousand Pounds cannot, in Course, be had in any Time convenient, for the Relief of their great Necessities:
It is Ordered, upon the Question, That if any Person or Persons shall advance the Nine thousand Pounds, remaining of the said Twelve thousand Pounds, or any Part thereof, that he or they shall have the Allowance of Eight per Cent. for a Year, payable every Six Months out of Goldsmiths-Hall, for the Time the said Nine thousand Pounds, or any Part thereof, shall be unpaid: And the Acquittance or Acquittances of the said Person or Persons, so advancing the said Nine thousand Pounds, or any Part thereof, shall be a sufficient Warrant and Discharge to the Committee at Goldsmiths-Hall, and Treasurers there, for the Repayment of the said Nine thousand Pounds, or any Part thereof, together with the Interest, from time to time, due for the same, accordingly.
The Lords Concurrence to be desired herein.
Nottingham County.
Ordered, That the Order, of 9 Februarii Instant, concerning the Six thousand Pounds granted to the County of Nottingham out of Goldsmiths-Hall, be sent to the Lords for their Concurrence.
Army.
According to the Order Yesterday made, the House proceeded to the Consideration of what Number of Horse shall be kept in Pay, for the Service of the Kingdom, within the Kingdom of England.
Resolved, &c. That Five thousand Four hundred Horse and a Thousand Dragoons shall be the Number of Horse and Dragoons that shall be kept at the Pay of the Kingdom, for the Service of the Kingdom of England, within the Kingdom of England.
Forces and Garisons.
Resolved, &c. That, To-morrow Morning, Mr. Speaker do take the Chair, notwithstanding any former Order: And that the House do, in the First place, proceed in the Consideration, How the Forces and Garisons of the Kingdom may be disposed, and provided for.
Religion.
Ordered, That, To-morrow Sevennight, the first Business, the House do meet in a Grand Committee, to take into Consideration the Business of Religion, according to former Order.
