Privilege.-Case of Nevill and Strowde.
THE House being put in mind, That this Day was, by former Order, appointed to hear Counsel on both Sides in this House, in the Cause between Mr. Nevill and Mr. Strowde, late Sheriff of the County of Berks; and that the Matter of the Debate Yesterday was adjourned, to be first proceeded in this Morning; and that nothing else was to intervene.
Ordered, That Counsel on both Sides be heard in this House on this Day Sevennight, in the Cause between Mr. Nevill, and Mr. Stroude, late Sheriff of the County of Berks.
Recognizing Protector's Title.
According to the Order made Yesterday, the House resumed the Debate upon the Bill, intituled, An Act of Recognition of his Highness' Right and Title to be Protector and Chief-Magistrate of the Commonwealth of England, Scotland, and Ireland, and the Dominions and Territories thereunto belonging.
The Question being propounded, That this House will take into Consideration a previous Vote, touching the Matter of this Debate, before the Commitment of this Bill;
The Question was put, That this Question be now put;
And it passed with the Affirmative.
And the main Question being put; It is
Resolved, &c. That this House will take into Consideration, a previous Vote, touching the Matter of this Debate before the Commitment of this Bill.
Ordered, That the House do proceed to take into Consideration the same previous Vote, To-morrow Morning, at Eight of the Clock; and that no other Business do then intervene.
