Ordered, That Frederick Steur of Holland be added to this Bill.

Ordered, That Sarah Crewes, born at Rotterdam in Holland, the Daughter of Mathew Crewes, late of Yarmouth in the County of Norfolk, and Elizabeth his Wife, be added to this Bill.

Resolved, That the Petition of Renee de sa Brand be now read.

The said Petition was read, accordingly; and was intituled, "The humble Petition of Reene de Sabran, an Infant of the Age of Four Years, or thereabouts, by his near Friend Benjamin Weston Esquire."

The Question being put, That this Petition be referred to the Committee for Naturalization;

It passed in the Negative.

Resolved, That Michaell Steur, Son of Frederick Steur, be added to this Bill.

Wigston's Hospital, Leicester,

Dr. Clarges reports Amendments to the Bill for the Hospital called Wigston's Hospital, in Leicester: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, agreed unto.

Ordered, That Major-General Whalley, Sir Christofer Pack, and Henry Smyth Esquire, be added to the Governors of this Hospital.

Ordered, That Alexander Baker, Samuel Wanley, and Robert Hicklin, be added to the Governors of this Hospital.

Ordered, That Colonel Henry Markham be added a Governor of this Hospital.

Ordered, That this Bill, thus amended, shall be ingrossed.

Lisle's, &c. Petition.

Ordered, That the Petition of Henry Lisle, and other the Tenants of Hutton Lorris, in the County of York, be read on Monday Morning next.

Moore's Petition.

Resolved, That the Petition of Sir Henry Moore be now read.

The said Petition was read, accordingly; and was intituled, "The humble Petition of Sir Henry Moore."

The Question being put, That this Petition be referred to a Committee;

It passed with the Negative.

Resolved, That this Petition be rejected.

Ordered, That the Amendments to the Bill for the Earl of Huntingdon, be reported on Monday Morning next.

Raising Money.

The House this Day, according to former Order, was resolved into a Grand Committee of the whole House upon the Business for raising the Sum of Four hundred thousand Pounds.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Downing took the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Downing reports from the Grand Committee, upon the Business for raising the Sum of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by this House, the several Resolutions of the said Grand Committee, as followeth; viz.

That, towards the Raising of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by the House, there be a Monthly Assessment for Three Months, to commence the 25th of March next, after the Rate of Sixty thousand Pounds per mensem.

That, towards the Raising of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by the House, there be the Sum of Fifteen thousand Pounds raised by way of Assessment in Scotland, and paid in before the 24th of June next.

That, towards the Raising of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by the House, there shall be the Sum of Twenty thousand Pounds raised by way of Assessment in Ireland, and paid in before the 24th of June next.

And also reports, That the said Grand Committee do desire Leave to sit again upon that Business on Tuesday Morning next.

Resolved, That the House doth agree with this Vote of the Committee:

That, towards the Raising of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by the House, there be a monthly Assessment for Three Months, to commence the 25th of March next, after the Rate of Sixty thousand Pounds per mensem.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Grand Committee, That, towards the Raising of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by the House, there be the Sum of Fifteen thousand Pounds raised by way of Assessment in Scotland, and paid in before the 24th of June next.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the Grand Committee, That, towards the Raising of Four hundred thousand Pounds, voted by the House, there shall be the Sum of Twenty thousand Pounds raised by way of Assessment in Ireland, and paid in before the 24th Day of June next.

Resolved, That it be referred to the said Grand Committee, to prepare a Bill, or Bills, in pursuance of these Votes.

Resolved, That this House doth agree with the said Grand Committee, That the said Grand Committee do sit on Tuesday Morning next, upon the Business for the Raising of the Sum of Four hundred thousand Pounds.

The Question being propounded, That it be referred to the same Grand Committee, to consider of a Clause in the Preamble, or other Part, of the Bill for asserting the Rights of the People, "That no Monies ought to be levied without common Consent in Parliament;"

And the Question being put, That that Question be now put;

It passed in the Affirmative.

And the main Question being put; It was

Resolved, by the Parliament, That it be referred to the same Grand Committee, to consider of a Clause in the Preamble, or other Part, of the Bill for asserting the Rights of the People, That no Money ought to be levied, without common Consent in Parliament.

Ordered, That the Amendments to the Bill for the Erecting of Courts at York, be reported on Wednesday next.
