Law.
THE House resumed the Debate of Yesterday, touching the Law.
Resolved, That the Committee of the Law do proceed with the Regulation of the Law; and, as they have any thing ready to offer, that they do report the same to the House.
The Question being put, That this Debate be adjourned till To-morrow Morning;

Colonel West, Mr. Barebone, Sir Charles Wolseley, Mr. Spence, Mr. Taylor, Mr. Squib, Mr. Highland, Mr. Kenrick, Colonel Blunt, Sir Gilbert Pickering, Mr. Wingfield, Mr. Moyer, Major-General Harrison, or any Five of them: And this Committee is to meet To-morrow, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Speaker's Chamber; with Power to send for Papers, Persons, Records.
Resolved, That the Quorum of the Committee of the Law be Five.
Letter read.
A Letter from General Monck, Vice-Admiral Penn, Rear-Admiral Lawson, dated aboard the Resolution, in Aldborough Road, the 17th of August 1653, was this Day read.
Sailors, &c. Widows.
Ordered, That the Judges for Probate of Wills, do take care, that the Wives, Executors, and Administrators of private Soldiers, and Mariners, slain or dying in the Parliament's Service, be admitted to make Probate of the Wills, and sue out Letters of Administration, of such Soldiers and Seamen, gratis, without Fees.
Leave of Absence.
Resolved, That Mr. Highland have Leave to be absent till Monday.
Resolved, That Sir Robert King have Leave to be absent for Eight Days for his Health.
