Prayers.

THE Question being propounded, That Leave be given, at this Time, to take into Consideration that Part of Church-Government, which concerns Commissioners;

The House was divided.

The Yeas went forth.

So that the Question passed with the Affirmative.

Resolved, &c. That Leave be given, at this Time, to take into Consideration that Part of Church-Government, which concerns Commissioners.

Ordered, &c. That the Debate concerning Commissioners be taken into Consideration To-morrow Morning, the first Business, according to the Vote now passed.

A Letter from the Commissioners of both Houses, from Lincolne, of 19 Maii 1646; a Copy of a Letter from the Commissioners of the Parliament of Scotland, of 16 Maii 1646, from Newcastle, to Lieutenant-General David Leslie; a Copy of a Letter from Colonel Copley, from Topcliffe, of 17 Maii 1646, to the Committee of War at Yorke; and a Copy of a Letter from the Committee of War at Yorke, of 18 Maii 1646, to the Committee of both Houses at Lincolne; were all this Day read. And

It is Ordered, &c. That these Letters, and all other Letters, concerning the Demanding and Delivery of Mr. Ashbournham to the Deputy-Serjeant at Arms, be taken into Consideration on Monday Morning next, the first Business: And that the Deputies of the Serjeant at Arms, employed in this Business, do then attend. And

It is further Ordered, That the Letter from the Commissioners of Scotland, from Worcester-House, concerning the Letter written by Mr. Cheislie to the Lord Balcarras, be then likewise taken into Consideration: And that no other Business do intervene.

A Letter from the Commissioners of Scotland, from Worcester-House, of 20 Maii 1646, with Two Papers inclosed.

The Letter, signed by the Lord Lauderdail only, was this Day read.

Ordered, &c. That Mr. Speaker do write unto the Scotts Commissioners, to signify unto them, That he having received a Letter, signed by the Lord Lauderdaile only, that he is commanded to know, Whether it come from them as Commissioners, and according to their Commission and Authority heretofore delivered in by them to the Parliament of England.
