David Vaughan of Pembrey, co. Carmarthen, esq v John Prichard of the same, gent
November 1637 - February 1638
Abstract
Dr Talbot delivered the libel for Vaughan on 12 February 1638, but the cause and result of his complaint against Prichard remain unknown as only their bonds dated 21 November 1637 and 22 January 1638 survive. [For Prichard's countersuit, see cause 542.]

Signed by John Watkins of Bedwellty, co. Monmouth, gent, on behalf of Vaughan.
Sealed, subscribed and delivered in the presence of John Watson.

22 January 1638
Bound to appear 'in the Court in the painted Chamber within the Pallace of Westminster'.
Signed by John Prichard.
Sealed, subscribed and delivered in the presence of Gilbert Dethick and John Watson.
Summary of proceedings
Dr Talbot acted as counsel for Vaughan and Dr Gwyn for Prichard. On 27 January 1638 Prichard was required to appear in accordance with his bond. On 12 February 1638 Dr Talbot produced the libel, just as the cause was about to be dismissed for his failure to do so.
