John Haresfield and William Stoughton, both aged 50 years and more, know that she was born on that day and baptised in St. Mary’s church, Cardiff, because they had a ship called ‘la Trynyte’ wrecked and sunk in the port of Cardiff then.
John Joce of the forest of Dean and Walter Toky, both 44 and more: on that day Owyn Glendordy came with his large army to the gates of Cardiff [sic, 1400?].
Richard Harmeles and Richard Chaumberleyn, both 45 and more: that day Thomas bishop of Llandaff reconsecrated the graveyard of St. Mary’s, Cardiff, polluted by the effusion of blood, and afterwards baptised Isabel.
Richard Twynnyng and Thomas Whithed, both 46 and more: the house of John atte Stile, near their houses in Cardiff, was burnt down on that day.
John Salesbury and John Clerk, both 46 and more: Joan daughter of John Geffrey, their kinsman, was then married to John ap Adam in that church.
