Answer from the H. C.
The Messengers sent Yesterday to the House of Commons return this Answer from the House of Commons:
That they will send an Answer, by Messengers of their own, touching the Earl of Bath.
The Messengers sent Yesterday to the House of Commons, touching a Committee for taking Accompts of all Monies received by virtue of any Ordinance of Parliament, return with this Answer:
That they will send an Answer, by Messengers of their own.
Committee to consider of Propositions to the King for Peace.
It was moved, "That a Committee might be appointed, to consider of some Propositions fit to be presented to the King, for settling the present Distractions:"
And these Lords following were appointed Committees:
Delinquents sent for, for abusing a Servant to the Committee in the City.
The House being informed, "That one Goss, that is a Servant to the Committee at Haberdashers (fn. 1) Hall, hath been uncivilly used, and carried by Serjeants to The Compter;" which this House took as an Affront to that Committee: It is Ordered, That the Serjeants, and those that abused him, shall be sent for, as Delinquents.
Ordinance for the Weekly Assessment, sent to the H. C.
The Earl of Northumberland reported from the Committee the Ordinance for the Weekly Assessments, "That the Committee thinks it fit to pass, with some Amendments;" which being read, the said Amendments were approved of, and Ordered to be sent to the House of Commons.
(fn. 2) And accordingly a Message was sent, with the said Ordinance and the Amendments, to the House of Commons, by Mr. Serjeant Whitfeild and Mr. Serjeant Fynch.
Moulins, for seizing Mr. Nott's Goods.
One Moulins was brought to the Bar, to know by what Authority he seized the Goods of Mr. Nott; and he produced a Warrant for it from the House of Commons.
Hereupon this House (fn. 1) Ordered, To have a Conference with the House of Commons about it.
Moyser in Error.
Ordered, Mr. Moyser shall assign Errors by this Day Sevennight.
