PRAYERS.
Perbery discharged.
Upon reading of the Petition of Thomas Perbury, who was committed by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in the High Court of Parliament assembled, the 13th Day of this Instant November, for arresting Hugh Floyde, a menial Servant to the Right Honourable the Earl of Sarum, contrary to the Privileges of Parliament; it was Ordered, upon the said Petition of the said Perbery, and upon the Request of the Earl of Sarum, That the said Thomas Perbery shall forthwith be discharged of his Imprisonment.
Access of Friends, &c. to the Earl of Strafford.
After this, the House was adjourned into a Committee during Pleasure, to consider whether the Earl of Strafford should have Access of Friends and Servants to him in The Tower before Examination of Witnesses, and the House being resumed, it was left as it stood before Ordered.
Committee for Imprisonments and Abuses in Courts of Justice.
A Committee was appointed, to examine all Abuses in Matter of Imprisonment, and also to examine all other Abuses in Courts of Justice.
The Names of the Lords Committees.
Their Lordships, or any Seven of them, to meet To-morrow, being the 27th Day of this Instant November, at Eight of the Clock in the Morning, in the Painted Chamber.
Whether Lords who are Puties in Benson's Case shall sit.
It was signified to the House, That Robert Benson, who was reported to have traduced by scandalous Speeches the Lords Commissioners, who treated at Rippon with the Scottish Commissioners, was brought by the Serjeant at Arms, according to an Order of this House; and, before he was called in, the House took into Consideration whether the said Lords Commissioners that were accused ought to sit in the House as Judges in their own Cases. For the discussing of this, the House was adjourned into a Committee, during Pleasure; and, after some Agitation, the House was resumed; but no Resolution at that Time.

Afterwards Robert Benson was called to the Bar, as a Delinquent; and denying the Words, he was commanded to withdraw.
To find Bail.
Whereupon it was Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in the High Court of Parliament assembled, That further Prosecution in this Business shall be deferred, until the Witnesses do appear, who are speedily to be sent for. In the mean Time, the said Robert Benson to give sufficient Bail before the Lord Chief Justice, to appear before this Honourable House when their Lordships shall please to appoint.
