THE Bill for making the Arms of this Kingdom more serviceable in Time to come, was returned by the Lord Archbishop of Cant. first of the Committees, with certain Amendments thought meet to be added; which Amendments were Twice read, and, upon the Question, the Bill, with the Amendments, was re-committed to the former Committees of the same Bill, with Addition of the Lord Chancellor and the Earl of Leicester.

And also with Addition of Mr. Justice Winch and Mr. Justice Doddridge unto the Judges, and others of His Majesty's Learned Counsel, appointed, upon the former Commitment of this Bill, to attend the Lords Committees.

Appointed to meet this Afternoon, at Two of the Clock, in the Council Chamber at Whitehall.

Lesiure's Naturalization.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the Naturalizing of Sir Stephen Lesiure, Knight, and appointed to be engrossed.

Sir Stephen Lesiure received the Communion.

This Day, before the Bill next abovementioned, for the Naturalizing of Sir Stephen Lesiure, was Secondly read, the said Sir Stephen did, before the Sitting of the Court, shew unto the Lord Chancellor a Certificate, under the Hand of William Walker, Minister of the Parish of Cheswick, That he, the said Sir Stephen, had received the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, according as the Statute de Anno 3° Regis Jacobi requireth; and then also the said Sir Stephen, in Presence of the Lord Chancellor, kneeling, did freely and voluntarily take as well the Oath of Supremacy, as the Oath of Allegiance, by the same Statute appointed in like Case to be taken.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the further Assurance and Perfecting of the Sales made by Charles Walgrave the Elder, Esquire, by virtue of an Act of Parliament made at the Session of Parliament holden by Prorogation at Westm. in the Seventh Year of the Reign of the King's Majesty of England, France, and Ireland, and of Scotland the Three and Fortieth, intituled, An Act for enabling of Charles Walgrave, Esquire, to make Sale of certain Lands, for the Payment of his Debts, and Advancement of his Younger Sons and Daughters.
