Writ of Error.
Whereas Nicholas Stafford, an Irishman, hath brought his Writ of Error, in the Name of William Mac Donnogh, his Lessee, to reverse a Judgment in The King's Bench, concerning Lands in Ireland (wherein John Stafford, an Irishman, is Defendant); the Lord Chief Justice moved, to know the Pleasure of the House, whether the Writ of Scire facias (in this Case to be awarded) shall be directed to the Sheriff of Midd. or to the Sheriff of that County in Ireland where the Land lies, because it seemed doubtful; and Ordered, That the Lord Chief Justice, and the Judges then present, shall advise and consider of the Form and Course herein to be taken, and make Report thereof, to the House To-morrow Morning.

E. of Hertford's Writ of Summons.
The Lord Arhcbishop of Canterbury reported, That, according to the Order of the 18th of this May, his Grace, and the other Lords joined with him, moved the King's Majesty, for a Writ of Summons to the Parliament to be sent to the now Earl of Hertford; and that His Majesty is well pleased, such Writ to be sent, so as the Earl do take his Place according to the new Creation of that Earldom, and not otherwise.
Sir John Bennet.
It is this Day (upon the Motion of the Earl of South'ton) Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal of the High Court of Parliament, That the Lords Committees, authorized by this House to take the Examinations of Witnesses in the Cause of Sir John Bennet, Knight, shall have Power and Authority from this House, to call before them any of the said Witnesses in that Cause, to be examined, on such Days, and at such Places, as their Lordships shall think meet; and to send a Warrant, under their or any Two of their Hands, for their Appearance before the said Committees accordingly, to be examined as aforesaid.
