PRAYERS.
Wrigglesworth to be brought to the Bar for arresting Sunmans, the E. of Clarendon's Servant.
Upon reading the Petition of William Wriglesworth, an Attorney in the Court of Common Pleas, in Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, for a Breach of Privilege, in being concerned in arresting a menial Servant of the Earl of Clarendon, in Breach of the Privilege of this House; acknowledging his Fault, begging Pardon of the said Earl, and of this House; and praying to be discharged:
It is Ordered, That the Petitioner be brought to the Bar of this House To-morrow, in order to his Discharge.
Lieutenant of The Tower and Black Rod's Information concerning D. Ormond and V. Bolingbroke:
Mr. Doyly, Deputy Lieutenant of The Tower of London attending (according to Order).
He was called in, and examined, at the Bar, whether James Duke of Ormonde and Henry Viscount Bolingbroke, or either of them, have rendered him or themselves to the Lieutenant of The Tower within the Time prescribed by the Acts for their Attainder, respectively. Also the Usher of the Black Rod was examined touching the same.
And they severally acquainting the House, "That neither of them the said Duke of Ormonde or Viscount Bolingbroke have rendered themselves, according to the Acts abovementioned:"
Their Names to be razed out of Lists. &c.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Earl Marshal of England do cause the Names of the said James Duke of Ormonde and Henry Viscount Bolingbroke to be razed out of the Roll of Peers, in this House; and likewise out of all Books and Lists in the Heralds Office, wherein their or either of their Names are inserted.
Commissioners, Debts of the Army, Bill.
The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for appointing Commissioners, to take, examine, and state the Debts due to the Army."
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Delawar reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."
Equivalent Debts, Scotland, Bill.
The House also (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for taking and stating the Debts due, and growing due, to Scotland, by Way of Equivalent in the Terms of the Union, and for Relief of the Creditors of the Public in Scotland, and the Commissioners of Equivalent."
And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Delawar reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."
L. Vise. Rosse's Bill:
The House proceeded to take into Consideration the Amendments made by the Commons to the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Richard Lord Viscount Rosse of the Kingdon of Ireland, notwithstanding his Nonage, to make a Jointure on Mary Viscountess Rosse his Wife, and a Settlement on his Issue Male, with Provision for Younger Children; and for other Purposes therein mentioned."
And the same were read, and severally agreed to by the House.
Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to their Amendments to it.
Then, a Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Fellowes and Mr. Holford:
To acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to their Amendments made to the said Bill.
Uxbridge, &c. Highways Bill:
Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for repairing and amending the Highways between Tyburn and Uxbridge, in the County of Middlesex."
The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
Message to H. C. that the Lords have agreed to it.
A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Fellowes and Mr. Holford:
