D. of Bolton takes the Oaths.

This Day Charles Duke of Bolton Lord Chamberlain, of His Majesty's Household took the Oaths, and made, and subscribed the Declaration, and also took and subscribed the Oath of Abjuration, pursuant to the Statutes; his Grace having first delivered a Certificate of his receiving the Sacrament, and Witnesses were sworn and examined to the Truth thereof.

D. of Ormond and V. Bolingbroke, Names in Roll of Peers:

Notice being taken, "That the Names of James Butler Duke of Ormond and Henry St. John Viscount Bolingbroke, attainted by Act of Parliament of High Treason, unless they rendered themselves to Justice by the Tenth of this Instant September, remain in the Roll of Peers delivered into this House by Garter late King at Arms:"

It is Ordered, That this House will To-morrow take this Matter into Consideration; and that the Lords be summoned to attend the Service of this House upon that Occasion."

Lieutenant of The Tower to attend, about their Surrender.

Ordered, That the Lieutenant of The Tower of London, or the Deputy Lieutenant of the same, do attend this House To-morrow, to give an Account whether James Duke of Ormonde and Henry Viscount Bolingbroke, or either of them, have rendered him or themselves, according to the Form of the Acts of Parliament for their Attainder respectively.

Debts of the Commissioners, Army, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for appointing Commissioners, to take, examine, and state, the Debts due to the Army."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow.

Equivalent Debts, Scotland, Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa; intituled, "An Act for taking and stating the Debts due, and growing due, to Scotland, by Way of Equivalent, in the Terms of the Union; and for Relief of the Creditors of the Public in Scotland, and the Commissioners of Equivalent."

Ordered, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow.

Uxbridge, &c. Highways, Bill.

The House resumed the adjourned Debate Yesterday, touching the Commitment of the Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing and amending the Highways between Tyburn and Uxbridge, in the County of Middlesex."

And a Motion being made, and the Question being put, "That this House be, on this Day Fortnight, put into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of this Bill?"

It was Resolved in the Negative.

Ordered, That this House be now put into a Committee upon the said Bill.

Messages from H. C. to return Cope's Bill;

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. London and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Robert Cope Esquire to settle an additional Jointure out of his Estate on Elizabeth his now Wife; and also to raise Portions and Maintenances for his Daughters and Younger Children by her, and to enable those in Remainder to do the same;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the same, without any Amendment.

and Vis. Rosse's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Yonge and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Richard Lord Viscount Rosse of the Kingdom of Ireland, notwithstanding his Nonage, to make a Jointure on Mary Viscountess Rosse his Wise, and a Settlement on his Issue Male, with Provision for Younger Children; and for other Purposes therein mentioned;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the said Bill, with several Amendments, whereunto they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Uxbridge, &c. Highways, Bill.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing and amending the Highways between Tyburn and Uxbridge, in the County of Middlesex."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Tankerville reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

South Sea Stock, Bill.

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enlarging the Capital Stock and Yearly Fund of the South Sea Company; and for supplying thereby Eight Hundred Twenty-two Thousand Thirty-two Pounds, Four Shillings, and Eight Pence, to public Uses; and for raising One Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Pounds, for the like Uses, by Sale of Annuities, upon divers Encouragements therein mentioned; and for appropriating several Supplies granted to His Majesty."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Delawar reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill; and directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."
