HODIE 1a vice lecta est Billa, An Act for the speedy Recovery of many Thousand Acres of Marsh Grounds, and other Grounds, within the Counties of Norffolk and Suffolk, lately surrounded by the Rage of the Sea, in divers Parts of the said Counties, and for the Prevention of the Danger of the like surrounding hereafter.

1. An Act, That all such as are to be Naturalized, or restored in Blood, shall first receive the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, and the Oath of Allegiance, and the Oath of Supremacy. Returned, Expedit.

2. An Act to avoid the double Payment of Debts. Returned, Expedit.

3. An Act against Burning of Heath, and other Moorburning, in the Counties of Yorke, Durham, Northumb'land, Cumb'lande, West'land, Lancaster, Darby, Nottingham, and Leicester, at unseasonable Times of the Year. Returned also, with the Consent of the Lower House to the Amendments added by the Lords, as the Two former Bills, and so Expedit.

4. An Act for the Sale of the Manor of Bretts, and Farm of Plastow, in the County of Essex, Parcel of the Possessions of Henry Earl of Oxenford, towards the Repurchasing of the Castle, Manor, and Parks, of Henningham, in the same County, being the ancient Inheritance and chief Mansion-house of the Earls of Oxenford. Returned, Expedit.

5. An Act against scandalous and unworthy Ministers.

6. An Act for the Punishment of Sir Stephen Proctor, Knight, for divers Misdemeanors and Offences by him practised and committed.

7. An Act for the enabling of Reginald Rous, of Baddingham, in the County of Suffolke, Gentleman, to make Sale of the Third Part of the Manor of Baddingham Hall, with the Appurtenances, and of the Third Part of certain other Lands and Tenements, with Appurtenances, in Baddingham, Dymyngton, and Little Glemham, in the said County of Suffolke, to Reginald Rous, of The Inner Temple, London, Esquire, Nephew to the said Reginald Rous, of Baddingham.

8. An Act for the Naturalizing the Reverend Father in God George Montgomery, Lord Bishop of Derry, in Irelande, Sir James Fullerton, and Sir Hugh Montgomery, Knights, and Hugh and James Montgomery, Children of the said Sir Hugh Montgomery.

Message to the Lower House, by Sir Mathewe Carewe:

Concerning the Bill for restraining the Canons Ecclesiastical not confirmed by Parliament.

That the Lords have entered into Consideration of the Bill, intituled, An Act restraining the Execution of Canons Ecclesiastical not confirmed by Parliament, which Bill their Lordships received from that House; and do desire a Conference to be had, by Thirty Committees of this House, with a convenient Number of that House; which their Lordships do wish, if it may stand with their Conveniency, to be To-morrow, the 6th of this Instant July, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber.

Answer:

That the House of Commons, according to the Lords Desire, will give their Lordships Meeting, by Sixty Committees of their House, at the Time and Place prefixed.

Appointed, That of the Committees, to whom the Consideration of the said Bill, upon the Second Reading, was referred, Thirty, who shall be present, shall be Committees, for the Conference above-mentioned. Earl of South'ton added to the Committees, by Order of the House.
