Lord Abergavenny's Bill.

THE Bill to enable Edward Lord Bergavenny, and Sir Henry Nevill, Knight, his eldest Son, to alien certain Lands, for Payment of their Debts, and Advancement of their Daughters and younger Sons, was this Day brought into the House, by the Lord Archbishop of Yorke, first of the Committee, with certain Amendments, upon the Review or Re-commitment; which were presently Twice read, and Ordered to be forthwith accordingly altered and inserted in the Bill.

To punish Frauds in Manufacturers of Wool and Woollen Yarn.

The Bill for punishing and correcting of Deceits and Frauds, committed by Sorters, Combers, and Spinsters of Wool, and Weavers of Woollen Yarn, was this Day brought into the House, by the Earl of Shrewesbury, the first of the Committees, without any Amendment or Alteration.

Palmer and Boyle's Naturalization.

The Amendments upon the Bill for enabling Charles Walgrave, Esquire, to make Sale of certain Lands, for the Payment of his Debts, and the Advancement of his younger Sons and Daughters, were the Third Time read, and Ordered to be presently inserted in the Bill; the same Bill Expedited.

Message to the Lower House, by Mr. Dr. Hone and Mr. Dr. Amye:

Concerning the Bill for the better Execution of Justice in the North Parts of England.

That the Lords, having read the Bill sent up unto them from the Commons House, and upon the Second Reading committed the same, videlicet, the Bill, intituled, An Act for the better Execution of Justice, and suppressing of Offenders, in the North Parts of the Kingdom of England; the same being brought back into this House by the Committees, some Matter of further Debate concerning some Point thereof hath been moved; whereupon their Lordships do desire a Conference to be had, by Twenty Committees of this House, with such convenient Number of that House as they shall appoint; which, if it may stand with their Conveniency, their Lordships do wish may be on Thursday, at Two of the Clock in the Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber.

Answer.

Answer:

That the House of Commons have entered into Consideration of the Message; and do resolve to give their Lordships Meeting, by the Number of Forty Committees, at the Time and Place prefixed.

Committee for the Conference.

Agreed, That the same Lords to whom the said Bill for the better Execution of Justice, and supperssing of Criminal Offenders in the North Parts of the Kingdom of Englande, was upon the Second Reading referred, shall now also be used as Committees for the Conference to be had with the Lower House, on Thursday, the 5th of this instant: videlicet,
