Message from the Lower House, delivered by Mr. Secretary Herbert and others; desiring a new Meeting and Conference, concerning the Four Ecclesiastical Matters, which before had been debated in Conference, at the Committee.
Answer returned, That the Lords will give them Meeting and Conference, upon the same Four Points, this Afternoon, at Three of the Clock.
Lord Gerard excused.
Signified by the Lord Chancellor, That the Lord Gerard was to make his present Repair unto New Market, there to give his Attendance on the King's Majesty's Person; and therefore desired to be excused for his Absence in the mean while from the Parliament.

Passage beyond Sea.
Memorandum, upon the Motion of the Earl of Salisburie, it was Agreed, That the Lord Chief Justice of England, with such of the King's Learned Counsel as shall please his Lordship to call unto him, shall draw a Bill to reform the Inconvenience found by the Bill of the last Parliament for Passage beyond the Seas.
Free Liberty of Trade.
The Bill of Free Trade with Spayne, Portugall, and Fraunce, being brought again to the House, after the Conference of the Committees of both Houses, recommended again to the same Lords Committees that had it before, to consider of some Things therein that seem meet to be amended in the Form of that Bill.
Lands to the E. of Salisbury.
The Earl of Salisburie's Bill was re-committed to the former Committees, for some further Consideration to be had of the same.
