Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to empower the Paymaster of the Million Lottery Tickets to pay to Sir William Hodges Baronet the Money due upon Fourteen Tickets in the said Lottery."

Quaker's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for continuing an Act, intituled, An Act, that the solemn Affirmation and Declaration of the People called Quakers shall be accepted, instead of an Oath in the usual Form."

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Monday next, at One a Clock.

Robertson versus Robertson.

Upon reading the Petition of Alexander Robertson Esquire; praying, "That the Hearing of his Appeal, which is appointed for Monday next, may be put off some few Days longer; that Day being the last of the Term, on which it will be difficult to get Counsel; and the Respondent consenting:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Wednesday next, at Eleven a Clock.

Lillingston versus Constable & al.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Brigadier General Luke Lillingston, from an Order of the Court of Chancery, made the Sixteenth Day of this Instant May, in a Cause wherein Marmaduke Constable and Elizabeth his Wife, and others, were Plaintiffs, against the Petitioner, as Administrator of his late Brother Major Gervas Lillingston, deceased, Defendant; praying, "That the said Order may be reversed, and the Petitioner's Exceptions to the Master's Report, mentioned in the Appeal, may be allowed:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Marmaduke Constable and Elizabeth his Wife, and others, may have a Copy of the said Appeal; and shall and are hereby required to put in their Answer or respective Answers thereunto, in Writing, on or before Friday the Sixth Day of June next, at Eleven a Clock.

Mathew's Bill.

Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for Relief of George Mathew Esquire, against a Clause in an Act of Parliament passed in Ireland, whereby several Fines and Recoveries, and a Settlement of his late Wife's Estate, are set aside."

Ordered, That the said Bill be read a Second Time on Monday next, after One a Clock.

Highgate and Barnet Road Bill:

The House (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing the Highway, between Highgate Gatchouse, in the County of Middlesex, and Barnet Blockhouse, in the County of Hertford."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Delawar reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the Bill, and made One Amendment thereunto."

Which, being read Twice, was agreed to.

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for repairing the Highway, between Highgate Gatehouse, in the County of Middlesex, and Barnet Blockhouse, in the County of Hertford."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendment, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with as Amendment to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Mr. Rogers and Mr. Browning:

To carry down the said Bill; and acquaint them, that the Lords have agreed to the same, with One Amendment, whereunto their Lordships desire their Concurrence.

Northfleet, Gravesend, &c. Highways Bill:

The House also (according to Order) was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enlarging, amending, and maintaining, the Road betwixt Northfleet, Gravesend, and Rochester, in the County of Kent."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Delawar reported from the Committee, "That they had gone through the said Bill; and had directed him to report the same to the House, without any Amendment."

Hodie 3^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for enlarging, amending, and maintaining, the Road betwixt Northfleet, Gravesend, and Rochester, in the County of Kent."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.
