Trade to Africa, Bill:

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for establishing the Trade to Africa free and open to all Her Majesty's Subjects of Great Britain and the Plantations."

Royal African Company to be heard against it.

Upon reading the Petition of the Royal African Company of England, and of their Creditors, united in pursuance of an Act passed the last Session of Parliament; praying, "That they may be heard, by their Counsel, against the Bill for establishing the Trade to Africa free and open to all Her Majesty's Subjects of Great Britain and the Plantations; as being an Invasion upon their Property:"

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be read a Second Time on Monday next; and that the Petitioners may be heard, by their Counsel, before the Second Reading thereof; as also may any other Persons that think themselves concerned therein.

Trade with France from 1660 to 1678 considered.

The Order being read, for taking into farther Consideration the State of the Trade between England and France, from the Year 1660, to the Year 1678:

And, after Debate thereupon, the following Orders were made; (videlicet,)

Commissioners of Customs, Objections to Scheme in 1674.

"Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners of the Customs do lay before this House such Objections as appear to them, in relation to the Scheme of Trade between England and France, in the Year 1674; which they laid before this House on Monday last."

Trade with France from 1678 to this Time to be considered.

"Ordered, That on Tuesday next this House will take into Consideration the State of the Trade between this Kingdom and France, and of the Manufactures of this Kingdom, from the Year 1678 to this Time."
