This Day Lionel Cranfield Earl of Dorset and Middl'x sat first in Parliament, upon the Death of his Father Charles Earl of Dorset and Middl'x; and took the Oaths of Allegiance and Supremacy, and the Oath of Abjuration, and also made and subscribed the Declaration, pursuant to the Statutes.

Whereas Richard Kingston stands accused, upon Oath, at the Bar of this House, for writing, and causing to be printed, a Book, intituled, "Remarks upon Doctor Friend's Account of the Earl of Peterborow's Conduct in Spain, chiefly since the Siege of Barcelona, 1706:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Her Majesty's Attorney General do prosecute the said Richard Kingston for the same, according to Law.
