Puleston & al. versus Puleston & al.
Upon reading the Petition of Dame Martha Puleston Widow, and Priscilla and Martha Puleston her Infant Daughters; shewing, "That they lodged their Appeal in this House, the Eight and Twentieth of November last, against Two Decrees made in this Cause by the Court of Chancery, and other subsequent Orders, to which Thomas Puleston Esquire an Infant, and others, are Respondents; and that the Matters of the said Appeal is now under an Accommodation;" and praying, "That they may withdraw their Appeal, without Prejudice:"
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners have hereby Leave to withdraw their Appeal, according to the Prayer of their said Petition.
Stephens's Petition referred to Judges.
Upon reading the Petition of Thomas Stephens Esquire and Anne his Wife; praying Leave to bring in a Bill, to enable the Petitioners to dispose of their Estate in the Counties of Chester and Stafford; he settling in the same Manner an Estate in the County of Gloucester, of as good or better Value, in Lieu thereof:
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Consideration of the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to Mr. Baron Price and Mr. Justice Dormer; who are forthwith to summon all Parties that are to be concerned in the Bill; and, after hearing them, to report to the House the State of the Case, with their Opinion thereupon, under their Hands, and whether all Parties concerned in the Consequences of the Bill have signed the Petition; and also that the Judges, having perused the Bill, do sign the same.

Increase of Seamen, and manning Fleet, Bill.
The Lord Viscount Townshend, pursuant to Order, presented to the House a Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement and Increase of Seamen, and better manning Her Majesty's Fleet."
Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the Encouragement and Increase of Seamen, and better manning Her Majesty's Fleet."
Address relating to Seamen in 1705.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Lords with White Staves do attend Her Majesty, from this House, humbly to desire Her Majesty to give Order to be laid before this House, an Account of what hath been done upon the Address of this House, presented to Her Majesty the Nineteenth Day of March One Thousand Seven Hundred and Five, relating to the Increase and Encouragement of Seamen.
E. of Bindon & al. versus Jo. Davies & al.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Henry Earl of Bindon and others are Appellants, and John Davies and others Respondents, on Tuesday the Third Day of February next; and that the other Causes appointed to be heard be removed, to come on in Course.
State of the Fleet, &c.
It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Saturday next, at Twelve a Clock, this House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed further in Consideration of the State of the Nation, in relation to the Fleet, and the Papers referred to the Committee delivered from the Lord High Admiral.
War in Spain.
The House, pursuant to Order, was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, to consider further of the State of the Nation, in relation to the War in Spain.
After some Time, the House was resumed.
And the Lord Herbert reported, "That the Committee of the whole House had made some Progress in the Matters to them referred, relating to the War in Spain; and that the Committee desired another Time may be appointed, for the House to be in a Committee, to proceed therein."
Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House shall be put into a Committee again, to consider further of the State of the Nation, in relation to the War in Spain, To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock; and the Lords summoned to attend.
