Repeal of Clauses relative to Scotland, Bill.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to repeal several Clauses in the Statute made in the Third and Fourth Years of Her present Majesty's Reign, for securing the Kingdom of England from several Acts lately passed in the Kingdom of Scotland."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir John Francklyn and Mr. Rogers:

To carry down the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Address of Thanks, for King of Spain's, &c. Letters about the Conquest of Catalonia;

The Duke of Bolton reported from the Lords Committees appointed to draw an humble Address to be presented to Her Majesty, "To give Her Majesty the humble and hearty Thanks of this House, for Her Majesty's having been graciously pleased to order to be laid before this House the several Papers relating to the Conquest of Catalonia, mentioned in Her Majesty's most Gracious Speech; and to congratulate Her Majesty on the Occasion of that most remarkable and glorious Success; and to assure Her Majesty, that this House will do all that in them lies, to assist Her Majesty to per fect what She has so gloriously begun;" an Address drawn by them.

Which was read, and is as followeth; (videlicet,)

"We, Your Majesty's most dutiful and obedient Subjects, the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, beg Leave to offer to Your Majesty our most humble Thanks, for Your Goodness in communicating to us the King of Spain's Letter to Your Majesty, and other Papers, relating to the Conquest of Barcelona, and the Reduction of the Principality of Catalonia to the Obedience of its rightful Prince: With Hearts full of Joy, we congratulate Your Majesty on the Occasion of this great and most remarkable Success, whereby Your Majesty's Glory, and the Honour of Your Arms, is extended to the remotest Parts of Europe. We humbly beg Leave to assure Your Majesty, we will be wanting in nothing, which lies in our Power, to assist Your Majesty in pursuing and perfecting the just and great Design; which You have undertaken, in Conjunction with Your Allies, of restoring the Spanish Monarchy to the House of Austria."

To which the House agreed.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That his Grace the Duke of Bolton do humbly attend Her Majesty, with the Address of this House agreed to this Day.

Security of Queen's Person and Protestant, Succession, Bill.

It is Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That To-morrow, at Twelve a Clock, this House shall be put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the better Security of Her Majesty's Person and Government, and of the Succession to the Crown of England in the Protestant Line."

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all the Judges do attend this House To-morrow, at Eleven a Clock.

Traherne versus Sadleir.

Ordered, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Cause depending in this House (wherein Philip Traherne Senior and Philip Troherne Junior are Appellants, and Richard Sadleir and others Respondents) shall be heard, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Tuesday the Fourth Day of December next, at Eleven a Clock in the Forenoon.

Adjourn.
