Bath Highways, &c. Bill.
The Earl of Berkeley reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for repairing, amending, and enlarging the Highways, between the Top of Kingsdown Hill and the City of Bath, and also several other Highways leading to and through the said City; and for cleansing, paving, and lightening the Streets, and regulating the Chairmen there," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.
Ordered, That the said Bill be read the Third Time To-morrow.
Sir Thomas Hardy to attend the Committee on the Merchants Petition, &c.
The House being informed, "That Sir Thomas Hardy was at the Door;" he was called in, and told, "That he was to attend the Lords Committees appointed to consider of the Merchants Petition, To-morrow, and at such other Times as they shall think fit."
