Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting in Trustees all the Estate of Baldwin Malett Esquire, and William Malett his Son and Heir Apparent, for Payment of the Debt of the said Baldwin Malett to Her Majesty, as he was Receiver General for the County of Somerset, and City and County of the City of Bristol; and for settling the Residue on the said William Malett, his Heirs and Assigns, for ever, as by Agreement between the said Baldwin Malett and William Malett."
ORDERED, That the Consideration of the said Bill be referred to the same Committee to whom the Bill, intituled, "An Act to empower the Lord High Treasurer, or Commissioners of the Treasury, to compound with Sir Michael Biddulph Baronet, as he was One of the Sureties for Morgan Whitley Esquire, Receiver General for the Counties of Chester and North Wales," stands committed.
Their Lordships, or any Five of them, to meet on Monday next, at Ten a Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.

Jones versus James.
After hearing Counsel upon the Petition and Appeal of William Jones, from a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, for Affirmation of a Will made by Morgan Jones, and granting a perpetual Injunction against trying the Validity of the said Will, which Decree and Injunction was made in Favour of Nicholas James; and praying the Reversal of the said Decree: As also upon the Answer of the said Nicholas James put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:
Judgement affirmed.
It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of William Jones shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree therein complained of shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.
Queen's Answer about being attended.
The Lord Steward reported, "That Her Majesty has appointed Monday next, at Two a Clock, for this House to attend Her, with their Address, at St. James's."
Sir Henry Johnson versus England et al.
Upon reading the Petition of Daniel Blake and John England, on Behalf of themselves and others, the Creditors of John late Lord Lovelace deceased; and also of Rich'd Nevill Esquire, John Bradford Esquire, Henry Nevill and Henry Fane Gentlemen, on Behalf of themselves and others, the Legatees of the Will of the said Lord Lovelace, Respondents to the Petition of Appeal of Sir Henry Johnson Knight, and the Right Honourable Martha Baroness Wentworth his Wife; praying "a short Day may be appointed for hearing this Cause, to prevent the Ruin of the Petitioners and their Families:"
It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, peremptorily, on Tuesday the Thirteenth Day of this Instant February, at Eleven a Clock.
