James versus Jones.

Upon reading the Petition of Nicholas James Clerk, Respondent to the Appeal of William Jones, brought into this House the Fourteenth Instant; shewing, "That the Petitioner living in Monmouthsh'r, and being served with the Order of this House but very lately, and his Writings and Papers are some of them in Wales, and others lie dispersed in his Attorney's and Solicitor's Hands in the Country, so that the Petitioner could not prepare his Answer by the Time appointed; and praying a Fortnight's Time to put in his Answer to the said Appeal:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Nicholas James hath hereby Time allowed him for answering thereunto, until Thursday the Fourteenth Day of December next.

Report of Trade delivered.

This Day the Lord Dartmouth, from the Commissioners of Trade and Plantations, delivered the Report of Trade.

Hacche's Bill.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Agnes Hacche Widow, and other Trustees, to make Leases, and sell Lands, in the County of Devon, for the Payment of the Debts and Legacies of Robert Hacche Esquire, deceased, and for the Maintenance and Advancement of his Daughters Portions."
