The Lord Viscount Longueville reported from the Lords Committees, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Edward Mansell Esquire to mortgage or sell the Impropriate Rectories of Llanriddian and Penrice, for Payment of Debts, and raising Portions for Younger Children; and for settling the Manor of Hen-Llys, and other Lands of more Value," as fit to pass, without any Amendment.

Sherard versus Sherard:

After hearing Counsel, upon the Petition and Appeal of Castle Sherard, from Two Orders; the one, made by the Master of the Rolls, the Two and Twentieth of December, One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety-seven; and the other, on the Nineteenth Day of July last, by the Lord High Chancellor of England, confirming the same, in a Cause wherein the now Respondent John Castle Sherard was Plaintiff, and the Petitioner Defendant; and praying the Reversal of the said Orders; as also hearing Counsel, upon the Answer of the said John Castle Sherard put in thereunto; and due Consideration of what was offered thereupon:

Judgement affirmed, with Costs.

It is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Castle Sherard shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Orders therein complained of shall be, and they are hereby, affirmed: And it is further ORDERED, That the Petitioner Castle Sherard shall pay, or cause to be paid, unto the said Respondent John Castle Sherard the Sum of Twenty Pounds, for his Costs.

Woollen Manufactures, Bread, &c. exported, Duties on for taking off, Bill:
