Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Thomas Noble Gentleman to sell the undivided Third Part of the Manor of Foxton, in the County of Leicester, when he shall have settled other Lands (an entire Estate), of a greater Value, to the same Uses;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.
Libels, Report of Precedents for punishing the Authors of:
ORDERED, That the Committee appointed to inspect the Journals of this House, in relation to the punishing of Persons whose Books or Writings have been censured by this House, as scandalous Libels) be revived; to meet presently.
Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure.

And the Marquis of Normanby reported from the said Committee the Precedents following; (videlicet,)

Whereupon it is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mathew Smith Esquire, now in the Custody of the Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, shall be, and he is hereby, committed Prisoner to the Prison of The Gatehouse in Westm. until further Order of this House; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.
