PRAYERS.

Brown versus Bradford.

After hearing Counsel this Day, at the Bar, upon the Petition and Appeal of Humphry Browne; complaining of a Decree made in the Court of Chancery, the Fifteenth Day of June, in the Eighth Year of His present Majesty's Reign, on Behalf of Richard Bradford; as also upon the Answer of the said Richard Bradford put in thereunto:

After due Consideration of what was offered thereupon, it is ORDERED and Adjudged, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition and Appeal of Humphry Browne shall be, and is hereby, dismissed this House; and that the Decree from which he appealed shall be, and is hereby, affirmed.

E. of Maclesfield's Divorce Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for dissolving the Marriage between Charles Earl of Maclesfeld and Anne his Wife, and to illegitimate the Children of the said Anne."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill; and think it fit to pass, with some Amendments."

Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Irish Merchants versus Woollen Bill.

Upon reading the Petition of several Merchants of the City of London trading to Ireland; praying to be heard, by their Counsel, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act to encourage the Woollen Manufacture in England, and to restrain the Exportation of Woollen Manufactures from Ireland into any Foreign Parts; and for the better preventing the Exportation of Wool from England and Ireland:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, on Wednesday the Sixteenth Day of this Instant March, before the said Bill be read a Second Time.

Adjourn.
