L. Mohun's Trial, Committee to consider of.

Upon reading the Petition of Charles Lord Mohun; praying a certain Time may be appointed for his Trial:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Petition shall be, and is hereby, referred to the Lords Committees appointed, the Twentieth of December last, to consider of the Matter of the Indictment and Proceedings against Charles Lord Mohun; whose Lordships are to meet on Thursday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please; and report their Opinions in this Matter to the House.

E. of Maclesfield's Divorce Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for dissolving the Marriage between Charles Earl of Maclesfeld and Anne his Wife, and to illegitimate the Children of the said Anne."

The House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another short Time may be appointed, for them to sit again."

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling the Estate of John Hall, a Lunatic, subject to a Debt charged thereon," as fit to pass, with some Amendments.

Which, being read Twice, were agreed to; and the Bill ordered to be engrossed, with the said Amendments.

Message from H. C. with a Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by the Lord Hartington and others:

Who brought up a Bill, intituled, "An Act for punishing Charles Duncomb Esquire, for contriving and advising the making of false Indorsements of several Bills made forth at the Receipt of Exchequer, commonly called Exchequer Bills;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the abovesaid Bill shall be read on Friday next, at Twelve of the Clock; and all the Lords summoned to attend.

E. of Maclesfield's Divorce Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee again, upon the Earl of Maclesfeld's Bill.

And a Clause drawn by the Judges, being read, was agreed to, for indemnifying the Earl of Maclesfeld against the Lady's Debts.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some further Progress in the Bill; and desire another Time may be appointed, for them to sit again."

ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee again on this Bill, To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock.
