Papists not to disinherit Protestant Heirs, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for preventing Papists from disinheriting their Protestant Heirs."

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Monday next, at Eleven of the Clock; and that Mrs. Arabella Thompson (who this Day petitioned) shall be then heard, by her Counsel, in relation to the said Bill.

Juries, for better regulating, Bill.

The Earl of Manchester reported, from the Committee of the whole House, the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the Ease of Jurors, and better regulating of Juries," as sit to pass, with some Amendments.

And being read; (videlicet,)

Press 3, L. 25 and 6, disagreed to.

Press 4, L. 13 and 14, disagreed to.

The other Amendments were read.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Bill shall be re-committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Saturday next; and that the Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench do then attend.

Regularity in the House, when the King is present.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That, when His Majesty is present, all the Lords shall be in their Robes; and no Person whatsoever (except the necessary Officers attending) shall then be permitted to come into this House, other than the Master of the Ceremonies, and such as he shall certify to the Lord Great Chamberlain to be Foreigners; and that no Lords Sons, or other Person, be suffered to stand on the Throne, or Steps thereof, but such as bear the Regalia, and carry His Majesty's Train; and that no Lords sit on the Woolsacks.

Irish Linen Manufacture, &c. Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for encouraging the Linen Manufacture of Ireland; and bringing Flax and Hemp into, and the making of Sail Cloth in, this Kingdom."

Message from H. C. with the Bill to revest the Honour of Tutbury, &c. in the King.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Paget and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for revesting in His Majesty the Honour of Tutbury, Forest of Needwood, several Manors, Parks, Lands, and Offices, and other Profits thereunto belonging, and for vacating several Letters Patents therein mentioned;" and to acquaint this House, that they have agreed to the Lords Amendments made therein.

Highways Bill:

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the better amending and repairing the Highways, and the Explanation of the Laws relating thereunto."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill, with the Amendments, shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Rich'd Holford and Sir John Francklyn:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to the Amendment.

Acts, for continuing, Bill.

ORDERED, That the Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing several Acts therein mentioned," shall be committed to a Committee of the whole House, presently.

Then the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the said Bill.

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had gone through the said Bill, without any Amendment."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"
