Trade with France, to prohibit, &c. Bill to fix the Commencement of the Act for.

Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for declaring the Commencement of an Act (intituled, An Act for continuing the Acts for prohibiting all Trade and Commerce with France, and for encouragement of Privateers), to be from the Time it passed the Royal Assent, (to wit), on the Fourteenth Day of March, 1692."

Coffee, Tea, &c. additional Duties on, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for granting to His Majesty several additional Duties upon Coffee, Tea, Chocolate, and Spices, towards Satisfaction of the Debts due for the Transport Service for the Reduction of Ireland."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Sir T. Cook against the Bill to oblige him to accompt for Money received from the Treasure of the E. I. Company:

After hearing Counsel this Day, against the Bill, intituled, "An Act to oblige Sir Thomas Cooke to give an Accompt to whom he paid and distributed several Sums of Money, therein mentioned to be received out of the Treasure of the East India Company:"

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to oblige Sir Thomas Cooke to give an Accompt to whom he paid and distributed several Sums of Money, therein mentioned to be received out of the Treasure of the East India Company."

ORDERED, That the said Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, on Monday next.

Message to H. C. for Sir T. Cook, One of their Members, in The Tower, to attend this House, and for Papers:

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Mr. Pitts:

To acquaint them, that this House, having under their Consideration a Bill sent up from that House, intituled, "An Act to oblige Sir Thomas Cooke to give an Accompt to whom he paid and distributed several Sums of Money, therein mentioned to be received out of the Treasure of the East India Company;" do desire that Sir Thomas Cooke, a Member of their House, and now in The Tower by their Order, may be permitted and ordered to appear at the Bar of this House, when desired; and that they will transmit to this House such Papers as are now before them, relating to the Matter of the said Bill.

Ridge & al. to attend, with Papers about this Business.

ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Mr. Ridge, Sir Benjamin Bathurst, Mr. George Bohun, Mr. Isaac Hubland, Sir Jeremy Sambrooke, Mr. Robert Marshall, Mr. Nath'l Tench, and Mr. John Ward, do attend this House on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon; and bring with them such Books and Papers as relate to the Two Sums of Money mentioned in the Bill depending in this House, intituled, "An Act to oblige Sir Thomas Cooke to give an Accompt to whom he paid and distributed several Sums of Money, therein mentioned to be received out of the Treasure of the East-India Company;" and also such other Members of the Committee of the East India Company as were present when the said Two Sums were ordered, do then also attend.
