The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for Relief of Creditors."

After some Time, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill; and desire another Day may be appointed, to proceed."

ORDERED, That this House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed further therein, on this Day Sevennight.

Message from H. C. to return the Marq. of Tavistock's Bill.

A Message from the House of Commons, by Sir William Cooper and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for settling divers Manors and Lands upon the Marriage of the Marquis of Tavistock, Grandson of William Duke of Bedford;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments.

Which were read Three Times, and agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Waller and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for enabling Sir Paul Whichcot Knight and Baronet, and Dame Jane his Wife, to make Leases for Ninety-nine Years, of the Manor of Tooting Graveney, and any of their Messuages, Lands, and Hereditaments, in Tooting Graveney, Tooting Beake, and Stretham, in the County of Surry, for the better Improvement thereof;" to which they have agreed, with One Amendment, whereunto they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Which, being read Three Times, was agreed to; and ORDERED, That the Commons have Notice thereof.

As also the Bill, intituled, "An Act for continuing and making perpetual, several Laws therein mentioned;" to which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

Reflections on this House, in a Cause in Chancery about Convex Lights. Hutchinson and Hara's Answer to the Bill of Moore and Russell to be brought, and parties to attend.

The House being informed, "That, in some Proceedings in Chancery, touching the Convex Lights, there were Reflections upon this House:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Clerk in Chancery attend this House, with the Answer of Sam'l Hutchinson and Sir Charles Hara, to a Bill exhibited by Arthur Moore, Roman Russell, and others, touching the Convex Lights To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock; and that the said Sam'l Hutchinson, Arthur Moore, and Roman Russell, do then attend this House.
