Hodie 1a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the making a Bridge over the River Axe, in the County of Somersett."

Quarter Sessions to prevent Delays at, Bill.

The Earl of Stamford reported from the Committee of the whole House, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent Delays of Proceedings at the Quarter Sessions of the Peace," with several Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Capiatur Fine, to take away the Process for, Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act to take away the Process for the Capiatur Fine in the several Courts at Westm'r."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in the Bill."

And finding some Difficulties therein, the Committee following was made.

Whereas this Day is appointed for Robert Swayne to put in his Answer to the Petition and Appeal of Mr. Attorney General, at the Relation of Henry Pern:
