Tonstall versus Oxenberge.

Upon reading the Petition of Barnabas Tonstall (and the Affidavit thereunto annexed; praying longer Time for hearing of his Cause depending in this House, to which Robert Oxenberge is Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel, at the Bar, on Thursday the Two and Twentieth Day of this Instant March, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Bridge over the River Axe, Bill.

Hodie 2a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for the making a Bridge over the River Axe, in the County of Somersett."

Capiatur Fine, Process for, to take away, Bill:

The Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported from the Committee, the Bill, intituled, "An Act to take away the Process for the Capiatur Fine in the several Courts at Westm'r," with some Amendments.

Which were read Twice, and agreed to.

Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to take away the Process for the Capiatur Fine in the several Courts at Westm'r."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass, with the said Amendments?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. with Amendments to it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Robert Legard and Mr. Holford:

To return the said Bill, and desire their Concurrence to their Lordships Amendments.

Poor Prisoners, Bill to explain the Act for Relief of.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for the explaining and for the more effectual Execution of a former Act for Relief of poor Prisoners."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

Adjourn.
