It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the Cause wherein Obadiah Sedgwick is Appellant, and George Hitchcock and others Respondents, on Monday the Sixth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Additional Duties, Bill for.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for granting to Their Majesties certain additional Impositions upon several Goods and Merchandizes, for prosecuting the present War against France."

ORDERED, That this Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House, To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Chetham versus Humphreys.

Whereas this Day is appointed for hearing of the Cause wherein Ralph Chetham is Appellant, and Toby Humphreys Respondent:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Eighth Day of March next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Message from H. C. for a Conference on the Amendments to the Bill to prevent malicious Informations in the K. B. and for more easy Reversal of Outlawries.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Serjeant Trenchard and others:

To desire a Conference, upon the Subject-matter of the Amendments made by this House to the Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent malicious Informations in the Court of King's Bench, and for the more easy Reversal of Outlawries in the same Court."

To which the House agreed; and the Commons being called in again, were told, "That the Lords agree to a Conference as desired; and appoint it To-morrow, at One of the Clock, in the Painted Chamber."

Who returned the Bill, intituled, "An Act for delivering Declarations to Prisoners," to which this House made Amendments; and to which they have agreed, and propose One literal Amendment, to which they desire their Lordships Concurrence.

Message from thence, to return Bangor House Bill; Price's Bill; Bill to prevent Delays at Quarter Sessions; Towers's Bill; and Sir J. Williams's Bill.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Lutterell and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Humphry Lord Bishop of Bangor to make a Lease of Bangor House, with the Appurtenances, in the Parish of St. Andrew's Holbourn, London, for a competent Term of Years, in order to the new building and improving the Rent thereof, for the Benefit of his Successors;" to which they have agreed, without any Amendment.

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Travers and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Roger Price Esquire to sell some Part of his Estate, for Payment of Portions to the Daughters of John Price Esquire deceased;" to which they have made some Amendments, and desire their Lordships Concurrence thereunto.

And to put their Lordships in Mind of an engrossed Bill, intituled, "An Act to prevent Delays of Proceedings at the Quarter Sessions."

A Message was brought from the House of Commons, by Mr. Waller and others:

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Manor of Barcroft, otherwise Thonock, otherwise Low Thonock, Hinton, otherwise Hengton, and other Lands in the County of Lincolne, Isle of Ely, and Counties of Cambridge and Norfolke, in Trustees, for Payment of the Debts of Thomas Towers Esquire, and making Provision for his Wife and Daughter;" to which they have agreed, without any Amendments.

To return the Bill, intituled, "An Act to enable Sir John Williams of Langibby Castle, in the County of Monmouth, Baronet, to sell the Manors of Ewyas, Lacy, Waterston, and Trescaillan, and other Lands in the County of Hereford, and the Manor of Carwent and other Lands in the County of Monmouth, for Payment of Debts;" to which they have agreed, with some Amendments; and desire the Concurrence of this House thereunto.

After having heard several Persons this Day, at the Bar of the House, concerning the Condition and State of the Kingdom of Ireland, pursuant to the Orders of this House:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That To-morrow, at One of the Clock, this House will proceed to hear the other Persons summoned this Day to give an Account of the present Condition and State of the Kingdom of Ireland.

E Ranelaugh & al. versus Champante.

Upon reading the Petition and Appeal of Richard Earl of Ranelagh, Rachell Lady Viscountess Dowager of Falkeland, on the Behalf of herself and others, Executors of Sir James Hayes Knight, deceased, and of John Bence Esquire, Executor of John Bence deceased, from and against a Decree and several Orders made in the Court of Exchequer, in a Cause there depending, wherein the Petitioners, the Earl of Ranelagh, John Bence, and others, were Defendants, at the Suit of Sir John Champante Knight, Complainant; as also from an Order in another Cause, wherein the said Petitioners and the Testator Sir James Hayes and others were Plaintiffs, against the said Sir John Cham pante and others Defendants:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Sir John Champante may have a Copy of the said Petition; and shall and is hereby required to put in his Answer thereunto, in Writing, To-morrow, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
