Royal Mines Bill.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, upon the Bill, intituled, "An Act for removing Doubts and preventing Disputes touching Royal Mines; and that Their Majesties may have the Pre-emption."

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Stamford reported, "That the Committee had agreed to the said Bill, without any Amendment."

Then, Hodie 3a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for removing Doubts and preventing Disputes touching Royal Mines; and that Their Majesties may have the Pre-emption."

The Question was put, "Whether this Bill shall pass?"

It was Resolved in the Affirmative.

Message to H. C. that the Lords have passed it.

A Message was sent to the House of Commons, by Sir Miles Cooke and Sir Adam Ottley:

To let the Commons know, this House hath passed the said Bill, without any Amendment.

Upon reading the Petition of several Cheesemongers of London, on Behalf of themselves and others trading in Butter and Cheese; praying, "That they may be heard, by their Counsel, against the Bill, intituled, An Act to prevent the Abuses committed by the Traders in Butter and Cheese:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Petitioners shall be heard, by their Counsel, at the Committee to whom the said Bill is referred, on Saturday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in order to the making of Amendments to the said Bill.

Chetham versus Humphreys.

The House being moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing of the Cause depending in this House, wherein Ralph Chetham is Appellant, and Toby Humphryes Respondent:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Wednesday the Eight and Twentieth Day of this Instant February, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Stydolfe versus Langhorne.

Whereas this Day was appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Sigismond Stydolfe is Appellant, and Luke Langhorne and others Respondents:

Alnage Duty, for transferring to the Custom-house, Bill.

Whereas To-morrow is appointed for hearing Counsel for and against the Bill, intituled, "An Act for transferring the Collection of the Duty of Alnage to the Custom house, and for giving a Recompense to the Crown for the same:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That all Persons concerned for and against the said Bill shall be heard, by their Counsel, on Monday next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.
