The House was acquainted, "That the Lord Lovelace hath received the Order for his Attendance, to give Account of his Protections; that he had given Order for their being struck out of the Book; and that he would give no more."

To which the House agreed, and ordered them to be struck out.

Tross versus Peirce.

Upon reading the Petition of Henry Tross; shewing, "That he brought into this House his Appeal from a Decree in Chancery, to which Edward Peirce hath answered; and praying a Day may be appointed for hearing of the said Cause:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Friday the Ninth Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Persons attached; and not discharged.

Upon reading the Petition of Sir Thomas Duppa; shewing, "That several Persons have been attached, by Order of this House, for Breach of Privilege of Parliament, who were not discharged by this House:"

Jones and Skull to be attached.

It is thereupon ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That Sir Thomas Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod attending this House, do forthwith attach the Bodies of Hugh Jones the Elder, and Hugh Jones the Younger, and Charles Skull, and bring them in safe Custody to the Bar of this House, to answer for the several Breaches of Privilege by them committed; and this shall be a sufficient Warrant on that Behalf.

To Sir Tho. Duppa, Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod, his Deputy and Deputies, and every of them.

Wycherley versus Town of a Shrewsbury.

Upon reading the Petition of the Mayor, Aldermen, and Burgesses of the Town of Shrewsbury, Respondents to the Petition of Daniel Wycherley Esquire; praying a Day may be appointed for hearing the said Appeal:

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Saturday the Tenth Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

King's Speech considered, and Advice thereon.

Then His Majesty's Speech, made the Fourth Instant, was read, pursuant to the Order made on Saturday last.

Upon which, the House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee, to consider thereof.

And, after some Time spent therein, the House was resumed.

And the Earl of Bridgewater reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress therein, and had agreed of One Head, in order to address to His Majesty; and desired another Day might be ordered, for the House to be put into a Committee again to proceed thereon."

Then the Head agreed on by the Committee was read, as followeth; (videlicet,)

Commander in Chief, to be a British Subject.

"That the Chief Governor of the English Forces, under the King, shall be a Subject born in Their Majesties Dominions."

To which the House agreed, to be Part of an Address of Advice.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That To-morrow, at Twelve of the Clock, the House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed further upon Advice to the King upon His Majesty's Speech; and no other Business to intervene.

Book of Accompts delivered in.

The Secretary to the Commissioners, appointed by a late Act of Parliament to take and state the Public Accompts of the Kingdom, delivered a Book of Accompts, pursuant to an Order of Saturday last.

Moore versus Coote.

Whereas there is an Appeal depending in this House, wherein William Moore Esquire and Elizabeth Countess of Meath his Wife are Appellants, and Sir Phillip Coote Knight and the Lady Elizabeth his Wife are Respondents; the House being this Day moved, "That the Lady Katherine Brabazon shall be a Respondent to the said Appeal:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the said Lady Katherine Brabazon shall be admitted a Respondent to the said Appeal; and put in her Answer thereunto on Wednesday the Seventh Day of December next, in order to make her Defence at the Hearing thereof.
