Hodie 1^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act to enable Richard Walthall Esquire to sell Lands, for the Payment of Portions and Debts."

E. of Exeter, for giving Protections, submits.

The House was moved, on Behalf of the Earl of Exeter, "That his Lordship hath received the Order for giving Reasons for his Protections; that he thought they had been out long since, and desires they may be struck out."

To which the House agreed.

Commissioners of Accompts, to send an Account how the Public Treasure has been disposed of.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Commissioners appointed by a late Act of Parliament, to examine, take, and state, the Public Accompts of the Kingdom, do send an Account, in Writing, under any Five or more of their Hands and Seals, how the Public Treasure, Revenues, and other Things mentioned in that Act, have been disposed of.

King's Speech, to be considered.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That on Monday next, at Twelve of the Clock, this House shall read and consider His Majesty's Speech, made to both Houses of Parliament the Fourth Day of November Instant; and that all the Lords be summoned then to attend the House.

Smith versus Duffield.

The House being this Day moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Robert Smith and Mary his Wife and Sarah Duffeild are Appellants, and Francis Duffeild Esquire Respondent:"

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That this House will hear the said Cause, by Counsel on both Sides, at the Bar, on Thursday the Eighth Day of December next, at Ten of the Clock in the Forenoon.

Sir C. Wood, alias Cranmer, versus D. South'ton.

The House being this Day moved, "That a Day may be appointed for hearing the Cause wherein Sir Cesar Wood, alias Cranmer, is Appellant, and his Grace the Duke of South'ton Respondent:"

Hawley's Bill.

Hodie 2^a vice lecta est Billa, intituled, "An Act for vesting the Estate, Real and Personal, of Henry Hawley, in Trustees, to be sold, or otherwise disposed of, for the Benefit of his Daughters and Heirs Susanna and Mary, who are both Minors."

ORDERED, That the Consideration of this Bill be committed to the Lords following:

Their Lordships, or any Five of them; to meet on Tuesday next, at Nine of the Clock in the Forenoon, in the Prince's Lodgings near the House of Peers; and to adjourn as they please.
