PRAYERS.

Judges to draw a Bill for naturalizing Seamen.

It is ORDERED, by the Lords Spiritual and Temporal in Parliament assembled, That the Judges do draw a Bill for naturalizing such Seamen, being Protestants, as shall come into this Kingdom with their Families, and produce a Certificate of their having served at Sea, for the Space of Years; and present the same to the House.

Crosfield heard, and Witnesses examined.

The House was adjourned during Pleasure, and put into a Committee (pursuant to the Order of the Ninth Instant), to examine the Grievances complained of in, or annexed to, Mr. Crosfield's Petition.

And, after hearing several Witnesses, the House was resumed.

And the Lord Bishop of Salisbury reported, "That the Committee had made some Progress in hearing of Witnesses; and desired another Day might be appointed, for them to proceed therein."

ORDERED, That the House shall be put into a Committee, to proceed in the Examination of this Matter, Tomorrow, at Eleven of the Clock.

Adjourn.
